“Had an issue with a couple of amps for my home. One was clicking and wouldn't turn on, the other made a pop noise with a load of smoke. Booked them in and the amps were fixed within the week. If anything else develops a fault I'll definitely return”

“Just the best. Can't fault anything from welcome to departure. We stayed in the Barn which was amazing. Lovely touch of the essential food baket on arrival. Quality decor and furnishings. The rooms were spacious and the hot tub was an added bonus. Alan was on hand if needed (which he wasnt). Location beautiful and totally relaxed on departure. Well worth the trip up from London.”

“We had a lovely stay at the Garden Apartment a few weeks ago. It is beautifully furnished, was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Especially the beds. Having driven up from London with elderly parents it was just what we needed. The owners had very kindly stocked up the fridge and freezer which came in very handy for breakfast next morning. And was truly appreciated. As was the Netflix and music streaming on Alexa. We also noticed plenty of board games and dvds for families with younger children. Would definitely recommend .”

“Wow. What a fabulous meal that covered a group of people with an assortment of allergies. Never have been able to go to a restaurant and know that all their food was egg free and nut free. There was a great selection of gluten-free food too. The food was cooked to perfection, the taste, there aren’t sufficient words to describe how good it was. Would we go again? Absolutely. I have already recommended it to 2 people this morning and it’s only 10am.”

“Been to Fernhill Hotel twice now and its really good value for money if you need to stay in and around Manchester, you will ideally need a car though as it's situated in a remote farm area, which does mean it is very quiet! The rooms are nice and are a mixture of modern and traditional, the main bedroom and desk are made from wooden and are of an older style, no issue with it though everything functions as needed. The bathroom/shower puts many mainstream hotels to shame, very modern styled bathroom, the shower has great water pressure and even has a heated towel rack, the only minor downside is there is a lack of an area to put toiletries other than the sink. Overall, a great stay and excellent value for money.”

“We were very nervous leaving our spaniel as we've never used kennels with our other dogs. Recommended by a relative, what can we say! An absolutely fantastic set up, the owners and staff are amazing, you can tell straight away they really care. Facilities immaculate and we've now started putting our new maltipoo with them. Highly recommended and more importantly you can see how good they are the minute you drive up to the gates.”

“We love this little traditional tea room, Anna and Kath are 2 wonderful hostesses, I’m following slimming world and often have the home made soup , so many different ones and always delicious and filling , comes with a big chunk of thick bread , my husband will have one of the days special , chicken pie being his favourite, definitely our go to place in Bramhall X”

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left 3 days later the staff and owners were nothing less than perfect hosts. “Our families have used The Hinton Guest House a few times for their stays when visiting us in the area, and it has always been a fantastic choice. Most recently, my parents stayed for 7 nights in December 2024, and once again, the experience was excellent. Ann has consistently been extremely helpful and responsive, making the booking process straightforward and stress-free. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality truly set this guest house apart. The guest house is in a central position in Mobberley village, making it incredibly convenient. It’s just a couple of minutes’ walk to the Coop mini market, the local pharmacy, and a bus station with routes to Knutsford, Wilmslow, Macclesfield, and Altrincham. Additionally, it’s approximately a 10-minute walk to the local pubs, perfect for a relaxed evening out. The rooms and premises are always spotless, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The breakfast service is a highlight—the food is cooked to perfection, and the service is attentive and friendly. We’re so fortunate to have such a reliable and high-quality accommodation nearby. “I had a great stay here. The bathroom was modern and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the service was really nice. I asked for cheese to have for breakfast and they brought me some. The breakfast basket they provided contained some nice items. I had a one day stay for business. Booking was through our corporate system. I managed to park on premises, no issues as the site is safe. Upon leaving they requested payment, I mentioned that the corporate booking company would settle, and offered to leave my details in case of issues, they appreciated this. No problems whatsoever. I'd definitely stay again when visiting Manchester for business. If there's one thing I would like them to improve is the breakfast offering. There's a fridge in the room, please offer slices of cold cuts such as cheese and ham along with bread and butter, you don't need to leave these items in the fridge for every guest but I do believe you should have them on demand if requested. I was provided two small blocks of cheese rather than slices, I was happy to have the cheese but I was unable to have a "proper" breakfast sandwich of buttered bread with cheese and ham slices... a chunky block of cheese does not taste very good in the middle of a huge piece of bread.”

“What an amazing B&B. Sharon and Dave were simply wonderful hosts, with my family descending on them for the weekend for a nearby wedding. The beautiful flowers on the door were a good omen that we were in safe hands. The decor in the cottage was lovely and the whole place was well maintained. Sharon did a great job providing breakfast for all of us and they made us feel very welcome. It was a lovely break from urban life, would definitely recommend to others and I'd happily stay there again!”

“Needed an emergency accommodation due to Dv and I was booked in to the hotel at the last minute, At first I was afraid when I was told it is an hotel due to my terrible experience some years back and to my surprise it was the best I have ever gotten. No discrimination plus I needed Ramadan timetable calendar. Because where I was coming form,the time is different plus google keeps giving different time. I was afraid to asked the staff but to my surprise when I asked he told me the time and also gave me a picture…. Overall it is the best place ever especially if you have children the room is so big and accommodating I just wish their is a cooker but even without that the hotel is the best and cleanliness hotel I have ever seen and best location.”

“Fantastic family atmosphere as always. Sunday lunch is undoubtedly the best around. Summer time you have the beer garden with play area for the children and fabulous views. Winter time you have the cosy log fire and exceptional red wine.”

“Absolutely beautiful place! We stayed in the deluxe family room with our 4 month old which was really big with two bedrooms open to each other joined by steps with a king bed and double bed. You can reach the bedroom via the path outside which is good for a pram, or via the stairs through the pub. The owner and all staff are extremely friendly and chatty. We stayed for one night and had breakfast which was a lovely cooked breakfast with a good choice, and they also had cereal and yoghurt options with fresh juices, The bar is welcoming and had a good selection of drinks, also had their lovely little dogs walking round too. It’s very popular and busy, we stayed in October so I can imagine it’s very popular in the summer. The kids playground was good too with the animals in it and two lovely goats. We’d highly recommend this pub either for food or to stay too, and we’d love to return.”

“Love the decor and vibe in the Rose & Monkey. Ambience is just right as can’t stand brightly lit pubs. Always great music playing in the background. Handy for both Northern Quarter and Ancoats.”
