“I've had a great time living here, especially since Essential Student Living took over. The building itself is in a great location, right in the city about 5-10 mins from Victoria station, which makes everything super convenient. It is also really close to Angel Meadows park, which is to get outdoors in nature, which is rare in & around Manchester. The building is safe & secure and had everything I needed during my stay. Huge shoutout to David and the team who have done their absolute best to make the building better since taking over. :D”

“A good building with several small flats , For most of the Flats you don't need to cry any key , because they open with a code or electronical password and they are changeable . “Was a last minute on the spot booking and even gave us discount. Loved speaking to the manager upon arrival who explained everything to us in detail and expressed if we had an issue to come and speak to him first and he will try his best to fix it straight away. Never once got disturbed by anything and had a lovely stay. He even allowed me to put my chocolates in the freezer so they wouldn’t melt. Defo would stay there again.”

“This was a last minute book for me and my partner for the parklife festival. After reading the reviews we were very nervous to stay here and expected a lot worse than what we have experienced. We stayed in room 19B and it was very clean and modern ( this was just a regular room and not the luxury rooms) the mattress was not the comfiest but we both got a good sleep. We did have a shared bathroom with 3 other rooms however the bathroom was also very modern and clean. There was a variety of mirrors in the room and felt very homely. Over all our stay we was very pleased with and believe the reviews on this hotel are not accurate.We only payed £65 for the room. The rooms are small and there is an abandoned nursing home facing the hotel but the hotel had high enough gates to feel safe as it can be worrying due to the area in Manchester that this is located in which does look very run down. Adding on, we chose to park the car on the street although they offer car parking on site in which is £10 per car but there was no damage to the car after leaving it there over night.”

“Where do I begin, from the get go I knew this hotel was for me, dirty and cheap. We was one of the lucky ones in the hotel who actually got bedding, there was a bit of a down side due to no shower working but that’s easily fixable as the legend known as IAN In reception said he would get the boys on to it thanks for forgetting to charge us Ian you are the good guy here and me and the boys love ya until next year stay safe and please stay open! “I can only go off my own experiences when reviewing here and have found Salford Community Leisure excellent value for money. I have the monthly corporate all inclusive package, which gives you full access to all of the classes, gyms and pools across the Salford area. Some of the gyms are in better condition than others, but for what you pay and for what you get, you are getting a really good deal. The staff and instructors I've found all incredibly friendly and helpful. There's a great range of gym classes at all times of the day, evenings and weekends. You can book over the phone, on their booking system and also on their app. My only criticism is like I mentioned earlier, where some of the gyms are in better condition than others, but that is sadly out of SCL's control due to Tory central government cuts over the past 12 years, meaning budgets are tight. I believe there are plans for all of the gyms to eventually be redeveloped or refurbished, but obviously these things take time.”
