“My son has been learning the electric guitar at The Music Shed for over two years. The teaching is absolutely first class and he is now a very accomplished musician. He plays in one of their many bands, which has increased his confidence, team working skills and playing ability massively. The school is run by Dave and Dawn who work tirelessly to give all students the best possible learning opportunities and organise events, gigs and radio appearances to showcase what they can do. Perhaps most importantly, the school has a family feel and takes its role in the community very seriously. It is inclusive of all backgrounds and works with children, young people and adults with disabilities. The school has had a huge impact on the community in Eccles and Salford. I can't speak highly enough about the school - you won't find a better place in Salford to learn a musical instrument or take vocal lessons.”

“We love KAS Academy. We have been coming for years, ballet, acrobatics, drama and contemporary dance lessons, all excellent! We also love the school holiday camps, such a great experience and the family get to enjoy an amazing show at the end. Highly recommended!”

He loves attending Dance and Drama each week and has made lots of friends. He adores all the staff and has a good relationship with some of the girls in the older classes too. From first contact with Mark, my specific learning goals were given priority and I was put in touch with my instructor, Jordan Peacock who was simply superb at explaining complex concepts in a clear and engaging way and patient with questions and provided valuable feedback throughout the course. The course covered a wide range of advanced music production techniques and was expertly structured providing ample opportunity for hands-on practice. I certainly felt I had significantly levelled up by the end The studio space was well-equipped with professional grade software and hardware, allowing me to work with industry-standard tools and get real-world experience. I found the atmosphere at SEM Manchester really positive and encouraging. I felt very comfortable among tutors who clearly shared my passion for music production. It’s her home from home and she thoroughly enjoys the challenge of the classes and the interactions she has with her teachers and classmates. The variety of class types available is great, including musical theatre which my daughter loves. The encouragement and careful teaching has allowed my daughter to excel and progress through grades gaining high marks at each step. The highlight of our Summer is always the week of Summer School!”

He attended a couple of different taster sessions so he could decide where he wanted to learn and chose Aura. He has had a few different tutors along the way but has connected well with them which is important for him to engage fully. “A lively rock bar selling great food and drinks. Great decor, neon signs and some good rock tunes playin too. We went for a rock n roll bingo night, you get tickets online ours were £12 each. Its unreserved seating so if your in a group get there early. Its a really great night, winning free shots and dancing yo the tunes.”

The performance was world-class, from the costumes and stage design to the music, everything was magical and immersive. “Wow! This place reminds me of walking in to the likes of Pacha in Spain for the first time, the music pumping and the smoke acting as a barrier between the real world and club land. Tech house was the flavour of the night, and my god it tasted good! What an epic deviation of the norm, I could've literally thrown shapes all night in here! Could this place be the venue that puts Preston back on the clubland map? I think so!!!”

The weather was good enough to sit outside, the Halloween decorations were totally amazing. We shall always visit this place when in Manchester and we were lucky enough to meet the guy that did the Halloween decorations, he also does the Christmas ones too.”
