I've been attending Dawson's Music School since 2012 and in that time, not only have I reached Grade 6 but have met some lovely people of all ages and abilities. I totally agree with previous comments and find the small group classes just perfect for me. I would heartily recommend giving Dawson's a call, no matter what age or experience you may or may not have.”

The Maunder’s School of Popular Music provides a welcoming and supportive environment. My teacher- Neil, is talented, patient, and great at simplifying strumming patterns and chords. “The most nurturing dance school with exceptional training, exceptionally caring teachers and a standard of dance education that is second to non. So very thankful for all CPA do for my daughter and seeing how much she has flourished under their care, training and guidance during the past 3 years has been a joy to see. We travel quite a distance to attend CPA, but is worth every mile and cannot recommend enough. My daughter is now going onto attend the Classical Pathway Btec course at CPA and we are over the moon that this is an option for dancers leaving school wishing to consider a career within this industry. Central performing arts truly is a magical place where a child’s love of dance is inspired by teachers who really do have their best interests at heart, in addition to being industry professionals who have themselves worked or are still working/performing. My daughter has danced at turners for several years and has gained not only friendships but awards and has been given ample opportunities and experiences. “My daughter has been coming here for a year now doing Ballet on Saturday, 45 minute class. She really enjoys her classes with Miss. Emily and Miss Jenny. We absolutely loved the Great Showman performance in the Parr Hall. She loved her beautiful sparkly costume and dancing on the stage. Initially she did not know anyone and now she chats to Jennys mum as she helps her with her muddy football boots and shin pads, (as she come straight off the pitch to ballet) she says her own name for the register and skips into class with a smile. The little things matter and the friendly atmosphere helps her to thrive. I am hoping that the twins will be able to join Little crew shortly. Highly recommended x”

“This is fast becoming my favourite venue for live classical music in Manchester. The concert hall has fabulously good acoustics and is ideal for piano. At the much larger Bridgewater Hall across town, the piano is all too easily drowned out by the orchestra, or, in solo performances, it can sound like it's being played in another room. Yesterday at the Royal Northern College of Music, Feb 3, three concerts in one day! A very good 45-minute free lunchtime two-part concert of piano and tenor horn and then on came a very good young baritone William Jowett who sang Ibert's 'Quatre chansons de Don Quichotte' accompanied on piano by Hanna Csermely. Same pair popped up in more songs at the Carole Nash Recital room for another free - but shorter - concert at 6.30. Then, back in the Main Hall at 7.30, Nobuyuki Tsujii played Beethoven's Waldstein Piano Sonata and two Liszt pieces. After an interval, two Chopin Nocturnes and Chopin's Piano Sonata no 3. Tsujii is blind and has been from birth. On came this tiny little man with a beaming smile who captivated the entire hall last night. Brilliant playing. We would not let him go. He played 3 or 4 encores, I lost count. Then he closed the piano lid to signal he'd played enough. We didn't mind. We went home very happy. A truly lovely evening that I'll remember for a good while. If you get the chance, go see and hear him. You won't regret it for a second.”

“I have been a regular customer at this coffee bar ever since it opened the lady who runs the business is a wonderful welcoming and kind individual. I have visited many cafes around the area but in my personal opinion this has a more homely atmosphere to it. The food is spot on and I have never had a bad meal”

“Fantastic garage, very nice helpful staff, we always use them for our MOTs servicing etc. noticed a grinding noise from brakes recently and when I contacted them they said bring it now and we’ll check it out as I was worried it wasn’t safe to drive, booked us in for new discs and pads as we were towing a caravan a few days later, highly recommended”

“I suffer terribly with Rhuematoid Arthritis (RA), it’s an auto immune condition where your immune systems attacks your body, causing tendons to fill with fluid…it’s excruciating! Had a full body massage with Yvonne who understood exactly what I needed and I’ve left feeling SO much better and lighter. If you suffer with RA I totally recommend seeing Yvonne.”

“A gem of a theatre for Bolton and surrounding areas. I've seen a wide variety of productions here over the years. From excellent stand up comedy, to great drama and inventive musicals. Good food in the attached restaurant and bar. The recent production of Dickens' Christmas Carol was brilliant and entertaining. Highly recommended venue. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“We saw Neil Simon’s play “The Odd Couple” last night at Wigan Little Theatre. It was an excellent production, really funny, well acted, costumes and sets were superb. Theatre itself was a lovely old place, comfy and clean, great bar area and place for teas coffees etc in the interval. This is a gem of a place, run and maintained entirely by volunteers. A local treasure belonging to Wigan ❤️. Can’t wait for our next visit.”

“The Bowdon Rooms were amazing. Allison, Héléna, and the team were outstanding. Their attention to detail is second to none and we had nothing to worry about. From our first initial enquiry, right through to the wedding day itself Any questions we had were dealt with quickly. They put us at ease and let us enjoy the day. We couldn’t recommend The Bowdon Rooms enough for a wedding. A beautiful unique venue. Our guests were blown away, and we’ve had nothing but compliments since.”

“My son Oliver has been attending Aura music Academy for several years now learning to play drum (acoustic). He attended a couple of different taster sessions so he could decide where he wanted to learn and chose Aura. He has had a few different tutors along the way but has connected well with them which is important for him to engage fully. Regular updates on the school and lesson notes shared so we can see how he continues to progress.”

“Very, very good venue. The quayside theatre is very small and intimate, but holds a good crowd. We were there to see the "Ideal" stage show (which was absolutely brilliant) and it was a great trip. Two minor issues were that it was unclear when the doors would open, leaving quite a few people like us standing outside in rain and wind, which was not Ideal (see what I did there) Also the toilet roll dispensers are utterly dreadful, where you have to try and pull it out of a very tight opening and it invariably tears close to the holder. You know the ones I'm talking about... The rosé wine is delightful...”

“Amazing little gem Production was brilliant (talking heads) Great support staff It wasn't v warm but take a big coat,these places must cost a fortune to heat and at only £8 per ticket they need all funds they can get I guess Light refreshments at interval even a raffle! Parking was available on street but v full however there is a free car park 5 mins walk away it is a bit of a hill if you have mobility/health issues tho just go early and get space nearby if you able We done tlt we will be coming again”
