“We had to take our cat for an emergency appointment and this place was suggested on our vet's website, since this place was open after hours, Sundays and Bank Holidays. We rang up and got told to come here as soon as we could, no appointment needed. The facilities were good. A really great idea in dividing the waiting areas for dogs and cats, so less disruption. The cat waiting area even offered blankets to cover baskets if we had a nervous cat, lovely touch. Unfortunately we had to have our cat put to sleep, but the vet that we had informed us of our options, respectful to us and our cat, and the process. He really helped us through it all and what to do next. The reception staff were all friendly, attentive and helpful.”

An independent practice so, costs are very reasonable as opposed to costs imposed by other grouped practices. Common sense advice given too which is very refreshing. Would definitely recommend.”

“Dr. Archie and his team at Victoria Park Vet are truly exceptional. When my cat Rainbow, a sweet boy, was diagnosed with kidney failure just six months after we moved from Hong Kong to the UK, I felt completely lost. Dr. Archie changed everything. He listened to my concerns, valued my input, and worked with me as a partner. His endless support and professional advice gave me the confidence to care for Rainbow at home for nearly 23 months, with a quality of life I never thought possible. It felt like Rainbow was given a second chance at life. Thanks to the team, I celebrated Rainbow’s 16th and 17th birthdays—precious moments that were like a gift. Though we didn’t reach his 18th, I’m so grateful for the time we had. In his final days, especially the very last one, Dr. Emily and the team were incredibly kind and gentle. Rainbow only ever visited their clinic in the UK, so it was comforting that he could peacefully fall asleep in a familiar place. Deciding to say goodbye to Rainbow was the hardest choice I’ve ever made, but the team made me feel so supported and at peace. I left Rainbow with the clinic for two days before his cremation. When I returned to pick him up, he looked so serene, like he was sleeping sweetly. Seeing him like that brought calm to my heart, and I could finally let go. I wholeheartedly recommend Victoria Park Vet to anyone. They’ve also cared for my four dogs with the same dedication, and I trust them to keep my dogs healthy and happy for years to come. “Irlam Animal Clinic did a fantastic job looking after our lovely dog Ted. We could always get an appt and the staff are lovely esp the young guy on reception and Joanne the Manager who went above and beyond when he sadly passed away with heartfelt finishing touches. The vets are amazing and do a fantastic job! even in the most difficult of times. They gave us an extra year with Ted which we are forever grateful for.”

“The Heaton Moor practice are always very pleasant and genuinely care about the welfare of your pet. Making appointments is easy and rarely have to wait too long. I have been taking my pets to Woodcroft in Heaton Moor for what must be in excess of 30 years and have never had any reason to complain. To make things easier I am in their pet club which makes payment for routine annual boosters, worming and flea treatment very manageable. I recommend taking your pet there (far better than the chain of vets you may know of up and down the country.”

“I just want to say thank you to the vets for taking care of my buddy Ozzy on his last night on this cosmic rock. I live up in Newcastle so sadly I was not down here when my parents took him in. However I came to collect his ashes today and it made me happy to see how much the staff cared about everyone’s pals who get brought in and the love they have for pets even if it was a short interaction, I am glad he was in loving hands at the end. Thank you for the card and paw prints too it means a lot to me and my family who are spread around the world who couldn’t be here at this time. I know he visited a few times over the years, he was always taken great care of. Finally thank you for the beautiful packaging of the ashes, I will be taking them up north to the cliffs he was last with all of my family. “Our dog got attacked and sadly needed to be put to sleep. Vets 4 pets did everything they could to help her but unfortunately the wounds suffered where to severe. We could clearly see the team and Nile care about the wellbeing of animals who end up in their care. They treat our companions in such a humanely manor and therefore I would highly recommend this practice to anyone who has a family animal in need of help.
