She explained how the party would run, double checked the food orders and ensured we had everything we needed (including unlimited juice and hoardes of food!). “First time in here and it's a lovely local pub, friendly staff, very clean throughout, TVs to watch the sport on and a beer garden outside just opposite Heaton Park. Good range of beers and some sambucas I had never heard of but were lovely as shots.”

“Park on the side street, this place is small with two tables so if you’re coming with a big crew you maybe need to stand up and eat, the music is ok but the volume definitely needs notching down a bit. Me and two friends came and ordered the kings platter which came with dirty fries, wings, chicken breast, zinger burgers and more. The star of the show was the zinger burger and dirty fries which was 9/10 so definitely try them. A lil arcade machine in the corner for your pleasure to reminisce old times. Payment via cash or contactless and they also do milkshakes well. The owner is very passionate about the business and he has a team of ladies working behind and everything seems to work seamlessly. I will go again cuz I enjoyed the zinger burger and dirty fries.”

“Stumbled across this place whilst asking through the town. A lady called Nicky was teaching Daniella on the bar and we had a great laugh! The pint was decent, the atmosphere was welcoming and it was a generally jolly good visit!”

“Really impressed with this place. The staff were genuinely hospitable and professional – made us feel welcome and served us with a smile throughout. The food was spot on. Starters were great, especially the lamb chops, but my personal favourites were the fish pakora and naga wings – packed with flavour. Curries were classic British Indian restaurant style, just how I like it when eating out. What really stood out for me was the calm, cosy vibe. Even though it was nearly a full house, it didn’t feel chaotic or noisy like some buffet places. Staff managed the floor well and created a relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back.”

“Myself, partner and daughter went to the swan & cemetery tonight. The service was outstanding, the staff are super welcoming & friendly. The food was exceptional and we enjoyed every bite! Tonight there was a brass band playing Christmas tunes which was really festive and uplifting. “Been today for Christmas dinner. There were 8 in our party, and we were very impressed. The food was great, the service was good and friendly and we didnt feel rushed at all. Well done to the chefs and waiting staff”

“Picked up a special pizza from here. MacAttack, was so good and fresh. (Halal options were also available for pretty much every pizza) Good quality ingredients and such friendly staff. Pizza made in front of you, quick and efficient. Can tell the owner takes pride in culinary craftsmanship. Definitely come here if you’re wanting some good pizza. Burys got a gold mine right here.”

“We booked for food for 10 people on a Saturday night. It was very busy, as to be expected at that time. When we ordered food we were told there could be quite a wait as it was such a big order and only 2 people in the kitchen. The starters arrived in about 15 minutes and mains very shortly that. Hats off to Keegan and Andy in the kitchen as that was a quick service and the food was great, everything exactly as we ordered. Liam who was serving us was great too, making sure we had everything, checking we were ready for mains and even helping me bring I’d ordered at the bar to the table as the food had been brought out. I don’t think he could have done more for us. I would definitely go back and wouldn’t be worried about going a such a busy time like I would with other places. Thanks to everyone, it was booked for my Dad’s 60’th and he had a great time too!!”

“Came in for food and it was delicious. Got served by Karolina, she was delightful from when we walked through the door. Very friendly and welcoming. I believe a gentleman called Declan came and checked on our food as we was half way through it. A fantastic experience, will definitely return!”
