“Went for midweek lunch with a friend , we both had the 2 course menu deal and drinks . Very quiet with few customers while we were there, nice friendly staff . Food was very good if on the small portion side , we had the steak and ale pie . Have been here in the past and it has always been a good experience .”
“Really nice customer service from Tyler and Rachel really good people!”
“The best pub in the area! Great food and beer.”
“If you haven't been in a while, it's time to head back. It's truly a must-visit spot for any fan of authentic American BBQ in the Greater Manchester area. Big improvement in food quality. We will return. The music is brilliant too.”
“Reopened with new landlord and landlady. Very good pub, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely be calling in on a regular basis. Updated review.... This pub has gone from strength to strength... Great beer, great prices... Regulate entertainment and food too....”
“Had a couple of beers here on a Friday evening. The guest beer was in great condition and the bar staff were really friendly. Plenty of parking next to the pub. Sports were being shown on multiple screens. Would recommend and visit again.”
“Always a good time at colliers. Plenty for the kids during the day (park and bouncy castle) dog friendly and always a bit of footy on in background.”
“What a welcoming pub. A group of us visited after the Oldham vs Woking game on Tuesday night. We were away fans, but made to feel at home straight away! Christine & Jess looked after us so well and we were even bought a round of drinks from one of the locals. We will definitely recommend The Rifle Range and be sure to visit for longer next time. Thanks all!”
“A spur of the moment decision on a Sunday late Sunday afternoon. A Walk in without a reservation late on Sunday afternoon, the pub was relatively busy and there was a small queue of people waiting to be seated. Whilst guest were being seated, the lady behind the bar could see that we were waiting. She stopped what she was doing, she greeted us with a cherry hello, and confirmed if we had a reservation which we haven’t. She said it was no bother had a table available And it will only take two ticks to wipe down and set up. We both went for the Sunday lunch one roast beef one roast lamb the meals came to the table within 20 minutes and I have to say one of the best Sunday lunches I’ve had in years we finished off With one cheesecake and two spoons. The staff here at the Horton were most definitely on their a game when we visited on Sunday. Polite professional and welcoming. We will most definitely be returning to the Horton Arms.”
“Lovely, friendly staff. Great choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at really good prices. We hired the function room upstairs for our sons and his friends joint 21st. Good sized room with its own bar, stage and toilets. Lots of seating and a good size dance floor. Highly recommend The Blue Club if you are looking for a function room for any event.”
“Amazing night at the bonfire and fireworks. Well organised and the fireworks were excellent. Food served was tasty especially the Tata ash. One criticism and only a small one as this is a free event, maybe some portaloos next year to increase the capacity for the weak bladdered.”
“It's a good pub just near me so I don't have to go far to go home”
“Never been here before even though it is right round the corner from me. The food was lovely! The staff were friendly and attentive. Service was very quick. Planning on going back for the festive menu with the family.”
“Called in and had some food, portions and huge and absolutely beautiful. Steak was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend”
“Had a lovely stay including dinner and breakfast. Food was great, we had the roast dinner which was fantastic value for money at £13.95 a head. Breakfast had a good selection of hot food at the buffet. My only, very personal, preference would have been to have more egg options as I didn’t fancy the scrambled eggs and there wasn’t any other option but the rest was delicious and plentiful. Lastly, but definitely not least were the friendly, helpful staff who really made us feel welcome and valued. Highly recommend the Boat & Horses hotel too as the rooms are big, well appointed and the beds really, really comfy. Well worth a stop off.”
“Friendly staff and local atmosphere. I only live around the corner, so we go in often and 9/10 we know someone in there. Great pub.”
“Beautiful food, my partner had a stack I went for surf and turf... Very nice.... They was a little under staffed due to ill staff,,, it was a Friday night! The young lady that seated us made us welcome and explained their situation...... We only waited 15 to order food was their in ample time and cooked to perfection...... Worthy of a visit if your in the area.”
“Great place to eat food was spot on first time here cheap drinks cheap food but top quality really a little hidden gem family run business will definitely be returning!”
“Great shop that keeps the papa name the legend of Oldham ! It's got a handy small freezer section with ready meals etc well stocked with the basics.”
“Good options for the vegetarian breakfast (Quorn sausages, bubble and squeak and has browns) which came out very promptly but properly cooked and the continental breakfast is plentiful. Kids eat for free with an adult ordering breakfast is an excellent idea too. Staff were attentive and helpful. The kids soft play area has great decor and is pretty big to keep the littuns busy and tire em out.”
