“Great quality food for a more upscale version of a British lunch. The scallops were outstanding so was the T bone steak in particular as cooked to perfection, but was all great. Lovely restaurant in Hale village and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.”

“Number 1 Indian restaurant in the Bolton area. Some serious connoisseurs of Asian cuisine amongst our group. Veterans of the southern Indian lamb delicacy converted to the North Indian variety served here. Sizzling platters incredible, combined with incredible curry and sides in the original el tel combo meal, this place is one not to be missed. Will be back again next week, top tier place- give it a try!”

“Not your typical indian restaurant more street food but standard curries available. The food is always delicious and flavoursome service excellent. Sunday to Thursday they have a set menu at a very reasonable price.”

“The food was spot on, came out nice and hot. Service was quick and efficient. The atmosphere was really nice, it’s clean and it’s was cosy. There was loads of parking too so that wasn’t an issue. Food came out on time, and we didn’t have to wait for long at all. Only thing was the veg Manchurian dish was very very small. Other then that everything else was perfect.”

“Second time having Afternoon Tea here and still great. The staff are amazing. They are welcoming, friendly and attentive. The Afternoon Tea for 2 is tasty and fresh. We also ordered scrambled eggs on toast for our 8month old. He enjoyed it, as did I. It's the best scrambled eggs I've ever had. Came out hot, too, which was even better. Would 100% recommend without a doubt.”

“The best pub we have been in for a long while. We received a really warm welcome. The landlord was extremely friendly, and a great laugh. “This place is in prestwich in Manchester. Very lovely place to eat good English food and a very good price and nice service with a good atmosphere. The person I took there enjoyed her dinner, and we also had a cocktail. They have customers, rest room, and very spotless.”

“Diggle lock is a must visit in the Oldham/saddleworth area I’ve been lots of times it’s always great and the staff a super friendly. My favourite at the moment is the steak and eggs with halloumi on the side. The peach ice tea is a must try also!”

“Only came in for a quick drink. Decent pub, well off the beaten path. Car park for 15/20 cars over the road. Loads of beers on tap. Food did look incredible. But didn’t have personally. Would recommend booking if going for food - not too many tables inside as it’s quite a narrow pub, none the less, still good. And dog friendly. Decent playlist on, Atleast the short time we was there. With sky sports on tv.”

“Had a lovely meal, the chef even offered to make something not in the current menu, after there wasn’t a great deal of choice for a vegan diner. The waitress Katie was very hospitable, and went above and beyond to make the whole experience even better. Atmosphere was great even for a Tuesday evening. Will definitely be returning”
