“We ate here on Saturday 11.10.25. A big family group of 11. Age range 14 months -65 . Every one of us had great food, some carvery eaters, others chose from the menu. The staff were amazing (Trish as always), efficient and hugely accommodating. Even though it was quite busy, nothing was too much trouble. I personally recommend the carvery. It is amazing and the chef had added a shepherd's pie as a meat option, together with beef, Turkey, Chinese pork and roast pork. So glad I chose to have some. Delicious! Our go-to eatery, especially when family come to visit. Thank you and very well done all of you.”

“Had the carvery. All the vegetables were lovely, perfectly cooked. Roasties would have been nicer with a fluffier type of potato. Roast beef beautiful. Perfect apple crumble with loads of custard. Lovely waitress and lovely manager from the Hesketh which closed down and is still missed.”

He cooks a Sunday roast that is nothing short of exceptional. And it’s not just the roast—every dish I’ve had here has been fantastic. You can tell there’s real passion behind every plate. I come here regularly, whether it’s for a meal, a drink with friends, or—let’s be honest—sometimes more than one drink! It’s always a great experience. This is the first time I’ve taken the time to write a review, not because I didn’t want to, but because I never felt the need—Long Bar speaks for itself. But I do think it’s important to acknowledge the people who put passion into what they do, and Chef Dave and the whole team here deserve all the recognition. As a proud Bramhall local and a small business owner myself, I believe in supporting our village’s businesses. Places like Long Bar make all the difference in creating a welcoming community. “I must have driven past this place a thousand times, and had never considered sitting down to eat, as it looks nothing much from outside, but then I was invited for lunch here. “Fantastic service and food. We had a birthday dinner for two and they made the birthday girl feel special. Ambiance was modern and luxurious. We had starters of arancini and croquettes that were delicious. Mains we opted for steaks that were perfect with a cherry & almond dessert. All of this was absolutely divine. “Dining at Brasserie Blanc was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay at the Delta Hotel. From the moment we stepped inside, the beautifully designed interior transported us to a different world. The space is bathed in natural light, creating an atmosphere that’s both elegant and uplifting. Despite not having a reservation, the staff welcomed us with warmth and generosity, even seating us in what must be the best spot in the house. The customer service was nothing short of exceptional—genuine, attentive, and effortlessly accommodating. The food was absolutely divine. We started with the Dressed Devon Crab and the Pan-Fried Sea Bream, both bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors and perfectly presented. Paired with a bottle of their delicious white wine, it was a meal to remember. So memorable, in fact, that we ended up enjoying a second bottle as we lingered over dessert. Speaking of dessert—what a treat! The Wye Valley Rhubarb Crumble was the perfect balance of tart and sweet, while the Pistachio Soufflé was light, airy, and full of flavor. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. Brasserie Blanc is not just a restaurant—it’s an experience we’ll fondly remember and gladly recommend. Can’t wait to return!”

“Now the poutine here is amazing, I don’t usual go back to same place often but this place is an exception. The Keanu reeves poutine is very well balanced with a layer of chips in gravy with cheese curds followed by a bed of (Halal) BBQ USA beef brisket and long strands of crispy fried onions. Reasonably priced and a very warm welcome from the host. Everything a family run business should be.”

“Felt really welcomed on entering the restaurant, staff were lovely and attentive. We were seated and asked for drinks and they were brought promptly. We ordered the lamb rump and the pork three ways, no starters as I noticed they offered a cheese board for dessert! Food was amazing so was the service. Highly recommend.”

“The BEST venue! The heart of any establishment is it's staff. This is what makes The Spinning Top, not only special, but an incredible place to be. Mike, the landlord, is the kindest, and funniest guy you will ever meet. Our band (For The Hornets) travelled a round trip of around 9 hours to play here, and we were treated like royalty by all of the staff. It rubs off on all of the customers too, as complete outsiders we were made to feel like family. The Bar: Extremely well stocked, with a huge range of craft beers, wines, and mainsteam lagers. My draft Peroni was ice clod and in a Peroni glass - they take pride in what they do. The whole place was spotless, including the loo's. Playing as a band: As I mentioned we were treated like kings. We borrowed the house equipment (a god send for a travelling band) and it was all fantastic. Mike done the sound better than most professional sound engineers that we meet. Epilogue: The following day I had a panic attack that I'd left some vital grear at the venue, and woke Mike up at silly 'o' clock in blind panic. He was calm and extremely helpful. I'm so grateful for this. My was head slightly sore from over-indulgence.... but my abs sore from laughing all night. Absolutely incredible venue. Best in Stockport and Manchester. Would travel a long way out of my way to visit here again. 11/10.”

“First time visit to MC on Gemini park in Warrington. We were definitely not let down by some fabulous food, professional staff and allround stunning dining experience. My sons 18th birthday lunch, we covered steak, pork tomahawk, grilled salmon and calamari. All wonderfully cooked and presented. Excellent staff service who made the lunch a pleasure to eat there.
