“The best pizza place in Manchester. Pizzas are sooo good. Gluten free dough is available, as well as vegan options. Staff is very nice, and the inside os very nicely designed. It turns into a club in the evenings.”

“Went for a breakfast with the grandchildren, was very happy with the food, toast done to perfection, bacon had a chargrilled taste which I loved. The only let down was I like really runny eggs for my toast and beans. But not a dealbraker. The open fire was a bonus along with quite good coffee, being a breakfast coffee, it didn't give you that kick to wake your brain up, more like a brunch coffee.”

“Arguably one of the best Donner Wraps that I've had in a long, long time. The mests are very flavoursome and they're not dry like some other places. The prices are reasonable and it's definitely worth the money. Chips taste nice too and you get a good selection of 3 sauces which is a nice added extra. Didn't have to wait a long time to get my food either. I'd buy my Donner from here any day rather than the cheaper takeaways nearby. The salad and sauce that comes on the Wrap is also very tasty! Always updating their menu too which is good to see.”

“Never been here before but there was a band playing that we wanted to see. Great that some pubs are still willing to have live music. Really busy but the staff were excellent so no problem getting served. Although there was a choice of bitters it's a shame that there was no cask ale. A good looking pub and a friendly atmosphere and the band were brilliant so a really enjoyable Saturday night.”

“A pub with a bustling vibe and relaxed atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful and service is efficient. We stopped for a bite to eat and a drink and could have stayed much longer. We had the bao buns and Tokyo burger and both dishes were fresh and tasty.”

“Long-standing Chorlton pub and live music venue. Good selection of world and British beers in keg, cask and bottle. Happy hour prices in the week which I think are deliberately 10p cheat a pint than the pub next door. Not exactly glamorous but the decor is pretty interesting. Known for folk music and there is always lots going on in terms of live music and comedy in the upstairs bar.”

“So, fundamentally this was a really nice place. The atmosphere is modern yet comfortable. I felt it was clean and well-looked after and I did not find anything obvious out of place. Our party was there for a wedding reception and there were quite a lot of us. We ordered a lot of food and although I felt that the service was a little slow perhaps, I didn't find it slow to the point of questioning it as, after all, they were cooking approximately 20 meals from scratch. I ordered lamb shank and crème brule and I really enjoyed the lamb. I found it to be well cooked and definitely enjoyed my meal. As far as I am aware most of our party enjoyed their meal and we found nothing to complain about with the food at all. The service was actually really pro-active and helpful and I got the impression that nothing was too much trouble and the staff were really polite.”

Based at the foot of kinder scout, ideal for walkers, cyclists, rasmblers or a chillax break for the whole family. “I don't review often but this was too good to not review, Oldham's HIDDEN GEM - Went in for the first time yesterday, very friendly Chinese family run business, was met by I believe the lovely mum at first! Ordered 1. Fish 2. Salt and Pepper Chicken 3. Chips 4. Curry Sauce Very short wait time, cooked fresh with huge portions at a low cost! Was absolutely delicious especially the Salt and Pepper Chicken, I will be ordering this again and again. The family enjoyed it so much we went for a second time today, definitely the best curry sauce in Oldham!!! They threw in a free incredibly large bag of prawn crackers which paired lovely with the curry sauce!!! I went and got the Chicken chow mein and King prawn chow mein. Order taken by the lovely boy that works there, very friendly and kind explaining the different items they have! Even took the time to ensure all items were within my dietary restrictions :D Both were incredibly well cooked and flavourful, loved it!!! This is definitely going to have to be a repeated visit even though its a 10 minute drive from me!!! Everything is incredibly fresh, very fast service, lovely workers there, the Man Sun is amazing!!! Not sure why the other reviews are awful when this is one of the best if not the best chinese chippy I have ever been to.”

“My wife and I took our girls to celebrate booking a holiday in the U.S. The food was great. "Nicely American" for want of a better phrase. Tasty and reasonable price. The place was very busy (and so quite noisy, hence only 4 out of 5 for the atmosphere). But the team were on top of it with not long to wait for food. Great job. Our 'server', Savannah, was brilliant. So friendly, helpful and polite. Very attentive without smothering us. I noticed every time she passed our table she had a quick look to see if drinks needed refreshing, where we were at with food, etc. She (like the rest of the staff) were working really hard. Really enjoyed it and great food with great service made me want to go back again soon. Thanks!”
