“Just had a mixed kebab of chicken and Donna meat, it was so good, plenty of chicken and loads of Donna, the bread was thin and tasty, plenty of fresh salad. It was one of the best I have had, will definitely go back and recommend it”

“We have been to dough guys several times now for both take out and eating in. Every time the pizza has been excellent, we have tried different ones each time and have been impressed with all of them so far! Ingredients are fresh and they are authentic type pizzas. We most recently tried a white base on, they are very rich but as we were sharing it went perfectly with the other one we had. Quick delivery and very fresh, thanks!”

It’s rare to find a place that makes you feel so at home. Now, let’s talk about the food—because Chef Dave is truly outstanding. I don’t usually do “best,” but Dave? He cooks a Sunday roast that is nothing short of exceptional. And it’s not just the roast—every dish I’ve had here has been fantastic. You can tell there’s real passion behind every plate. I come here regularly, whether it’s for a meal, a drink with friends, or—let’s be honest—sometimes more than one drink! It’s always a great experience. This is the first time I’ve taken the time to write a review, not because I didn’t want to, but because I never felt the need—Long Bar speaks for itself. But I do think it’s important to acknowledge the people who put passion into what they do, and Chef Dave and the whole team here deserve all the recognition. As a proud Bramhall local and a small business owner myself, I believe in supporting our village’s businesses. Places like Long Bar make all the difference in creating a welcoming community. If you haven’t been yet, you absolutely should. Highly recommended!”

“We came on a Sunday, having been to an event in Manchester the night before. Looked this place up online for being open, having a good menu, and for being accessible as I was on crutches and wearing a surgical boot. All the boxes were ticked, and the welcome was brilliant, the lady owner was a lovely smiling hostess. The food was good, served quickly, piping hot and just what we wanted. Even on a Sunday, sited in a mainly industrial area, the cafe was busy and it is probably packed during the week. Lots of lovely thoughtful touches. All round, a great choice. Thank you”

“My recent dinner experience at The Rising Moon Restaurant Pub was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Everything, from the moment we walked in to the time we left, exceeded our expectations. The food was simply amazing. Every dish we ordered was prepared perfectly, delivered piping hot, and tasted incredible. It’s clear the kitchen takes great pride in the quality of their ingredients and cooking. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was delightful. There was a lively, warm buzz amongst the other diners, creating a very welcoming and comfortable environment that made our evening truly enjoyable. What really made the night memorable was the exceptional service provided by the entire team. All the staff members we interacted with were incredibly nice, polite, and attentive. In particular, I must give a special mention to Adam, who was truly great. Adam was not only very friendly and professional, but he went above and beyond to make our visit special. When he learned it was my mother's birthday, he kindly and thoughtfully brought out a slice of cake for her. This gesture of genuine care and attention made her day and demonstrated a level of service that is rarely seen. The combination of great food, wonderful atmosphere, and exemplary service ensures that we will definitely be returning to The Rising Moon Pub again very soon. We had a lovely evening, and I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a superb dining experience. “Love this place, Arab vibes and traditional authenticity. Food is a must, another place to go on my list. Try different dishes and keep a variety of tastes. The upstairs family or segregated seating area was good and I loved the art tapestry work. Can't beat the traditional middle eastern vibes and the atmosphere. The food to try among many is the Chicken rice pilafa and the soup is also delicious. Great place for family and the price is not only affordable but, also quality for food.”

“If there was an option for 6 stars, this pub would get it. Came here after a walk in the area and walked in to friendly staff and a warm fire. It was a weekday so not so busy we got a table straight away. You think it can't get better. It does. The pie was amazing, mash was amazing and gravy was amazing too. Such lovely food we had to get dessert and that was, as predicted, amazing. Can't wait to come back here again and try the other food on the menu, really exceptionally good pub to come.”

“A really cool setting with a lively atmosphere. The pizzas arrived piping hot, fresh and really tasty. Probably the best that we've had. The cocktails were excellent and mixed professionally at a reasonable price. The service was great and the staff were so friendly. The only things I would change would be stools to proper dining seats.”

We tried the Legit Burger, which was delicious, along with the flavorful basmati rice, mac and cheese, and a variety of vegetables. Everything was well-prepared and satisfying. Despite visiting on a Thursday evening, the restaurant wasn’t crowded, and we didn’t have to wait for a table. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with great food and attentive service. “Ate here before a concert at Co-op Live (used the park and ride) really enjoyed the food. It was really fresh and incredibly tasty. The service could have been better but wasn't terrible. We were stood a while at the door waiting to be seated, then again had to wait a while to be given a menu. When we asked for more drinks and napkins the staff were helpful and friendly though.”

“Lovely oasis of calm (no pun intended) in the midst of Heaton Park tucked away from the busier and noisier playground and lake areas. Good food, reasonably priced served by friendly staff. Well behaved dogs on leads welcome outdoors (not inside). And you can pick up some lovely plants from the garden centre on the way out!”

“Krave Coffee is a lovely cafe in Whitefield with plenty of free parking outside. The staff are all cheery and polite and the food is well cooked and neatly presented on your plate. Theres no step at the door and a ramp inside so easy walking for older customers and easy access for wheel & push chairs. We both had the small english and I swapped out those nasty mushrooms and tomatoes (my own taste I just dont like them) for another Grandads Sausage. The Americano was spot on and I would go back here just for another cuppa probably have some cake as well. Lunch menus when I asked are only served on weekdays. The seating inside is very comfortable, and theres also tables and chairs outside. A disabled toiket is also located at the back.”

“I pass this pub on a daily basis but have never visited until today. The place is lovely. A very old building with a nice atmosphere. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place. Food is very reasonably priced.”
