My stylist, Anna, always gives good advice about my hair colour so it doesn't get too saturated with dye products. As a result I have lovely soft & healthy hair, even though it is coloured regularly.”

“What an amazing B&B. Sharon and Dave were simply wonderful hosts, with my family descending on them for the weekend for a nearby wedding. The beautiful flowers on the door were a good omen that we were in safe hands. The decor in the cottage was lovely and the whole place was well maintained. Sharon did a great job providing breakfast for all of us and they made us feel very welcome. It was a lovely break from urban life, would definitely recommend to others and I'd happily stay there again!”

“Cannot recommend enough - this was Reuben's 4th groom, his first 'all-over' cut (and the 3rd different groomer I've been to because I want happy with the first two) The staff are lovely and took time to really listen to how I wanted him doing, while diplomatically advising me what would look best. Their menu offers a great variety of dishes, and the portions were generous. The staff was courteous and efficient, making the entire ordering process smooth and pleasant. Personally, my favorite is the young chow fried rice. For anyone that would want to check this place out I highly recommend this dish! 10/10 must try again!”

“The best breakfast sandwiches around! Unlike anywhere else I’ve tried, they use high quality buns and toast them which is so much better than the cheap white rolls found in most places. The quality of the bacon and eggs is also amazing. Great pit stop on our dog walks.”

“Such a lovely place. Wonderful food, volunteers, people and atmosphere. There is a nice store that sells nice wine, soaps, salt, jewellery, greeting cards including wooden greetings cards, chutney, tea, jams..and many more. For me, it's love at first sight.”

“Crispy chicken breast with soup udon. Iced bubble milk tea. Help yourself with different seasoning. Salt and pepper, seaweed and cheese powder and quite a few others. Would be even better if the breadcrumbs or flour not too thick. Worth trying. Milk tea and a few other drinks come at half price with food order at lunchtime. Very close to metro station or you can park and shop at Tesco Extra with three-hour free parking. Less than five minutes walk from Tesco.”

“Not able to judge the food (they dont sell any) or the atmosphere (as no one else was in) but the bar itself is wonderful. Only small, with an indoor upstairs seating area & a small section out front with tables & chairs (only good for dry days) Theres also a beer garden to the rear apparently (never tried it)? Although limited for bar space the beer selection is good. More often than not there are 3 locally brewed ales on cask & 8 beers on keg, which usually includes a dark one. Altrincham born & bred Iv'e been coming here since it opened in the early 2000s and despite both it sister bars closing (Chorlton & Liverpool) luckily this bar continues to trade. I wish there was a greater choice, but should you be unable to find something unsuitable on cask/keg, they also have a well stocked fridge with numerous craft ales so im confident you'll find something suitable. Not the cheapest of bars, but far from the most expensive. OK, its getting a little tired around the edges now & the downstairs disabled toilets could do with a bit of a face lift, but all that said I still highly recommend this place.”

“Had my hair coloured and cut at boa very disappointed the colour isn't what I wanted I had base colour and wanted blonde lights mingled through it ended up with just a few bits of blonde at the front then my God Sarah started with cut I asked for a reshape she scalped me it cost me £170 and will have to put highlights in myself what a night mare and very stressful never again. Following the recent review above , I would like to say thank you to Mark boa, He has done his very best to make amends.I will definitely be trying boa again.mark is such a lovely person , I look forward to meeting him when I am due for my next appointment xx”

“I have visited Unagi on a few occasions now and every visit is always great. The food is delicious! I would highly recommend the Bang Bang Karaage chicken and the salt & pepper fries, these were our favourites but everything tasted so good. Service is always friendly and very attentive. The drinks were good and not very expensive. The toilets upstairs were clean and tidy even though it was towards the end of the night.”

What's not to like? The seating is outdoors but some of it is covered and they have blankets for when it's cold. Top marks!”
