“Stayed here with my partner and our dog. Loved the place. Room was big and spotlessly clean, breakfast was perfect and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Loved the pub downstairs. No food was being served other than breakfast when we stayed. We tried the Indian upstairs which was lovely and also ate at the bulls heads just up the road. We will be back.”

“Excellent food, no, stunning food, called in for a Sunday Lunch, wow, thier Roast Beef, with all of the trimmings. Supported with some great quality cask beers. Fantastic atmosphere, really beautiful bar, welcoming, and excellent staff.”

“Been here twice and can't fault the place. The lunch special cheese and onion pie was really tasty. Also had a breakfast Omelette here and would recommend. The staff were friendly and the food prices reasonable. Place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. When ordering I was warned it might be a 20 minute wait however food arrived within 10 minutes. The food was hot, loved the homemade chips and fresh salad. They had a lovely children's corner with colouring books and ramped access at the front door. Only gave 4 stars for the food because they only use 2 eggs for the Omelette which compared to elsewhere is a little stingy. Will return again”

He has that rare balance of professionalism and approachability—quick to offer guidance on the menu but never in a way that feels pushy. When I mentioned I was looking for something new to try, he asked a few thoughtful questions about flavor preferences and then recommended a single-origin pour-over he felt would suit my taste. He explained the origin, tasting notes, and brewing process with an enthusiasm that felt authentic, not pretentious. The coffee itself was outstanding—clean, balanced, and clearly prepared with precision. What stood out even more was the care David took while preparing it: checking the grind, timing the extraction, and serving it with a brief explanation of what to expect. It’s the kind of attention to detail that shows he takes pride in his craft. Beyond the coffee, David’s presence contributes to the overall atmosphere of the café. He moves with efficiency during busy stretches without ever making customers feel rushed. I noticed him quietly anticipating needs—refreshing water glasses, wiping down the bar between orders, and checking in with guests at the perfect moments. He also seems to have built rapport with many regulars, greeting them by name and remembering their usual orders, which says a lot about both his consistency and the community feel he helps foster. In an industry where service can often feel transactional, David’s approach stands out. He brings expertise, personality, and an obvious passion for coffee, turning a simple visit into something memorable. If you stop by this café, I’d highly recommend ordering at the bar—you’ll likely learn something new and leave with a drink that’s crafted with exceptional care.”

“Brilliant renovation from the former Damson restaurant. The corn-fed chicken with the addition of chicken gravy - very tastey! The baked ham, white sauce pizza was perfect, all washed down with a selection of craft beer. Received amazing service from Sienna! Will be back!”

“Excellent takeaway and dine in. Highly recommend the tandoori rolls, which naans filled with your choice with a salad and sauce- sounds basic but the quality makes all the difference. Not to mention, the family running it are all lovely and friendly.”

“We used this venue as a campervan stopover. Which was mostly OK. When we arrived to pitch up the parking area was pretty well at capacity due to a Bowls match, tis cleared after about 2 hours or so and we were able to pitch up. As this was free we decided to meet with my sister and partner and my son. The 5 of us had a pleasant meal in the pub which we enjoyed. I would suggest that the proprietors consider putting an outside drinking water tap and marked bins for waste recycling. I have no doubt that we shall be visiting again.”

“This place is my favourite in Manchester. I’ve been there many times and was never let down. The food tastes great and is fresh and presentable. The staff are extremely friendly. It’s difficult for me to pick a favourite meal as all are delicious from Peri Peri grilled Chicken to burgers and mixed grilled kebabs.”

“Got there at lunchtime and it was lovely and quiet. I went for the standard carvery and the other half had the chicken burger. The carvery was lovely and fresh with good sizes of meat. The chicken burger was good, apparently, but the coleslaw let it down. All in all a good quick stop off for a lunch that was hot and a good size. The cake slices were huge!”

“Visited Coast for lunch today and was greeted by a very friendly member of staff who showed us to our lovely table in the conservatory part of the restaurant. Drinks were served very quickly which was good. Water was served as an addition without asking. We shared a pate starter followed by Risotto and a Pizza. The staff were very attentative and could not do enough.”

“The salt and pepper chips are amazing big thick chips with loads of salt and pepper enough for 2 people, the honey ribs are delicious plenty of meat on the ribs and full of flavour my mum is fussy and she really enjoyed her boiled rice chips and sweet chilly sauce, the sweet chilly sauce is a tad on the spicy side but still amazing with the fluffy crispy prawn crackers I would definitely buy from here again”

“Best local Chinese food place in Stretford with lovely owners who are really nice and sometimes throw in some extras. A little pricier than some other similar places, but in all honesty it's really worth it - there is a Chippy that is closer to me and cheaper, but it just doesn't quite feel the same after going to Four Seasons. The Salt & Pepper Chips are a personal favourite and the Chicken Satay sticks, Roast Duck and Sweet & Sour Chicken are a commonplace in my house hold, along with their noodles and fried rice. Definitely recommend, whether in person or for delivery, whether you're with people that are a big fan of Chinese food or aren't as familiar.”

“I’m impressed by the Hazelnut Praline cookie — just the right balance of nuts and chocolate, with the perfect level of sweetness. ☺️ (If I were being a little fussy — I’d love just a bit more of those crispy sugar crumbs!) Great coffee too. Would love to come back! :)”

“Super workplace coffee shop in Exchange Quay. Easy to drop in for coffee with a group - never a long wait and very quick service. Great quality coffee, and 50p off when using a reusable coffee cup. Many other options such as alternative lattes and teas. Also new cakes & pastries available each week. Small seating space downstairs, or large benches and sofas for groups upstairs.”

“Vibe Coffee was right across from our Airbnb and the first stop we made. Rachel was there to greet us and was very kind! We made multiple stops during our stay - I recommend anything with halloumi!”

I did not attend but Google assumed that I had and listed my review for the Gait inn at Millington I'm error. So this is to correct it. No fault of the Gate which I will attend next time I am in their location. I'm sure it's fine but I only post about my experience not Google errors.”

“A lovely little local pub serving great food. Nice decor and relaxing atmosphere. Dogs are made a fuss of and very welcome. The Sunday Roast is the best in the area. Fresh and Tasty food at a good price cooked to perfection by Jessica. And Kim on Front of House is just a joy. Friendly and attentive and goes out her way to make everyone feel welcome.”
