“Visited on Wednesday 1st October 2025, approx 7pm, not busy. This was our first time at the Cinnamon Tree, my partner and I were staying overnight nearby and flying the following morning. The food was very tasty, good and plentiful choices on the menu. Price was what you would expect to pay at a normal restaurant (not expensive). Staff were all very friendly. Tried Bangla beer for the first time and it was lovely. Thoroughly recommend.”

“Visited Grindhouse for a quick bite and a coffee to avoid the usual big chains that you can't move for falling over. Friendly staff and service. Had scrambled eggs on sour-dough and I have to say - eggs are easy to get completely wrong and I was very happy that these were completely right! The coffee was also very, very good. My better half had the French toast and reported that it was "very nice" (high praise!) and just the right amount not to make you feel like Jabba the Hutt.”

Recently after our new sofa failed we remembered a handsome locally made sofa being displayed at Lot 54 and returned to obtain more info. Daisy was brilliant and discussed a myriad of details over a cuppa - loads of fabric samples offered - a very nice service indeed. I don’t live near a Lakeland so it was just easier to call and speak to someone about my hesitation on buying a high price item and enquiring what kind of guarantees Lakeland provide.
