“Sushi was freshly prepared and perfectly balanced, not dry at all. My only comment would be that the wasabi could be a bit spicier, but I get that this could be to accommodate a Western palate, so fair enough. The service was friendly and the atmosphere of this section of the Arndale I always enjoy as there are many characters and cultures stopping here stopping for a bite. Highly Recommended.”

“Me and my friend love Chinese takeaway and we decided to try that place and honest to god it was so good. We had a create your own noodle box and honestly didn’t disappoint. My friend was so shocked and now every time I see her we always go there to eat. The service is amazing! You can watch them make the food and the drinks there are very cheap. Whenever I eat there I always walk out looking very happy. Best noodle & sushi place ever! If you’re a sushi or ramen/ noodle lover I would definitely recommend going there. “I have visited Unagi on a few occasions now and every visit is always great. The food is delicious! I would highly recommend the Bang Bang Karaage chicken and the salt & pepper fries, these were our favourites but everything tasted so good. Service is always friendly and very attentive. “What an amazing restaurant if your a sushi lover or chicken & beef dishes this is the place to be ! The staff are highly trained, food is prepared & cooked to perfection! Their sushi skills are amazing . The restaurant is in a beautiful place it’s well decorated & easy on the eye ! All on one floor seating is very comfortable & relaxing ! Great for dates , parties & kids to eat here ! They have amazing range of bubble teas & drinks range ! It’s a must to try their food they have a few now & they are all doing very well !”

“Relaxed little place, absolute gem for sushi, and I have to callout the cocktails - they're so affordable and are yummy. I've been here so many times now with different friends and even just once for a few cocktails. Always been excellent. Absolutely addicted to the salmon sashimi bowl, my definite go to. The platters are amazingly worth it (I used to live in London so...), portion size was SO GOOD, quality SO GOOD (see pics) Never get hot food here so can't really comment but can confirm it smells and looks yummy.”

“Delicious, fresh food! Popped in for lunch with a friend and we were both absolutely made up. The katsu, sushi and ramen were beautiful. We finished with some mochi ice cream for dessert, which was super tasty and nicely presented. The service was quick and friendly too. The new management has definitely made a difference, it’s a big improvement to what the food was like there previously. I’d be stopping by again for sure!”
