“I always make an effort to visit here, it’s my favourite pub and well worth the 45 minute train journey! Nice staff and they always have decent beers on tap which are always changing and have a lot of bottles to choose from as well. There are board games and snacks too for those who fancy that.”

“This was our first time here and it didn't disappoint. The welcome was warm & friendly, the service impeccable and the food was delicious. We were very hungry when we first arrived and left feeling very satisfied and happy with our whole experience. Our waitress, Katie, certainly deserves a mention as her smiley face and attentive service really made us feel welcome. I left my sunglasses there and got them back 5 days later. Would definitely recommend this place for so many reasons. We'll be back with other friends soon.”

“Phenomenal!!! So pleased we passed by this pub on the way home, the service was amazing and the food was delicious, home cooked and generous! Great veggie and vegan choices and sooo many gluten free options, most of the dishes looked like they could be done GF. Veggie burger and roast beef sandwiches both 10/10. We felt so comfortable and looked after, thank you Mike for being so passionate about the menu and chatting to us, as well as for my birthday dessert! We will definitely be back ☺️”

“Bunny Jackson’s in Manchester is unapologetically dive bar and they own that brand, and I didn’t realise how much I would miss a spot like this till I walked in. From the dim, sticky ambiance and dated decor to their neon signs with the loud chatter and cheap drinks, this place knows it’s a dive bar and wears it proudly. There are even signs that say things like we are sticky and messy, we got a dog, we are loud and we don’t care if you care. And it’s packed even on a weekday. But here’s the best thing about this place is the chicken wings. They are the cheapest wings I have seen yet are the best I have had in the country. I saw folks walk in solo just for the wings and bar food. The drinks and beers are wallet-friendly too, They’ve got over tap beers plus shots for when you want to get the party going. In the end , Bunny Jacksons is dive bar at its finest, and I will be back next time I am in Manchester.”

“I am from Arizona, but I served a Mormon mission here back in 1980 and this was the one place that had the best burgers in the world better than any that I have in America. And so literally I’ve been coming back for 43 years to this same place and same location. Their hamburgers and onion rings are second to none. And the lady that’s been serving us has been there 27 years, that’s crazy. When we bring my kids over and grandkids this is their favorite stop, we purchase takeout and then we walk across the street to the picnic tables and enjoy the best burgers around.”

“Last week we were [invited] to Sotto for "Tales of the Med" with Stir by night which involved bottomless tapas, paella, pizza and pasta Sotto is a fusion of Spanish and Italian cuisines which has resulted in a combination of homely, fresh food made with passion. Our night began with a coktail, the first of many....so the concept for this night was to bring s bottle of spirits which the @stirbynight guys would craft into genius cocktails as we feasted. I was very impressed with every drink they made with my favourite being gin based and served in a glass of powered beetroots, this resulted in a vibrant shokicng pink cocktail The food was crazy. Not just in flavour but in quantity! I have never been so full that I have had to force myself to eat mushroom and truffle ravioli before, it's a favourite of mine and I was tortured by its beautiful smell as I collapsed in a glutenous heap We were served pizza, Spanish tortilla, patatas bravas and olives before a very unique dish was served (The 4th picture) At first glance I thought this was a paella, but it was actually made of pasta cut finely and cooked with clams and parsley. It was very unusual and like nothing I've had before, personally I did not enjoy this as much as the actual paella that was served later on The chicken paella was absolutely beautiful, it was cooked in a traditional method from the region of Spain the owner Athena is from. I filled up on this a bit too much but paella is up there in the lisy of my favourite foods My favourite dish was the deep fried ravioli! Stuffed with spinach and ricotta, deep fried and topped with a tomato based sauce with Chorizo. This was incredible!! Definitely an amazing invention and a trend needing to kick off Overall we had an amazing experience, theres too much food to talk about. Big thank you to Sotto and Stir by Night for having us. “Unique take on typical indie-cafe food! I had a slightly spicey bacon butty and eggs benedict which had a delicious kick and I've never tried such a unique take on traditional breakfast food! Friendly staff, nice atmosphere :)”

“Popped in here for the first time since moving back to the area 5yrs ago. The place looks great, the staff are very friendly and Kyle and the bar and kitchen staff were extremely helpful when we ordered food. Just wanted a snack that would fill us up and that’s what we got. Nice vibe with a mixture of colourful locals.”

“We used this venue as a campervan stopover. Which was mostly OK. When we arrived to pitch up the parking area was pretty well at capacity due to a Bowls match, tis cleared after about 2 hours or so and we were able to pitch up. As this was free we decided to meet with my sister and partner and my son. The 5 of us had a pleasant meal in the pub which we enjoyed. I would suggest that the proprietors consider putting an outside drinking water tap and marked bins for waste recycling. I have no doubt that we shall be visiting again.”

“We are Americans visiting Manchester for the holidays. The Didsbury Pub was recommended to us for dinner. We had dinner at The Didsbury Pub on Christmas Eve, and it was fantastic! Steven, our server, looked after us; he did a fantastic job. The Didsbury Pub had a Festive Menu on Christmas Eve and our compliments to the Chef. The food was delicious. The hand carved roast turkey with Yorkshire pudding was awesome. So was the Marmalade Glazed Ham Hock. And the desserts. The apple & blackberry crumble was scrumptious; as was the melting chocolate fondant. The pub is beautiful. The atmosphere was great. One of the best dining experiences in all our travels. Thank you to Steven, the Chef, and all the great people at The Didsbury Pub. I highly recommend everyone visiting Manchester to stop in and enjoy The Didsbury Pub.”

“This place seems to have a bit of a rep locally but from the 5 or 6 times I have been in here after a night at the market I have really enjoyed it great atmosphere and the staff are really lovely and have never seen any trouble”
