They rang me a couple of times to keep me informed about when I could pick them up—fantastic independent store. Shop local!”

“I bought a sealed laptop from the Bury store - they gave me speedy next day delivery, unfortunately there was a minor software problem that I managed to get sorted. Meanwhile the manager (Alex) took ownership of my problem & offered a free return to get the laptop working. It was not required but I was very impressed by the standard of customer service. “What can I say about this place! It's an unassuming studio but once you walk in you get welcomed with an offer of a brew and made to feel comfortable from the off. I had my tattoo from laura but every artist was happy to talk and made you feel inclusive of their studio. Excellent craic, top notch artists, spotlessly clean. Having AuDHD would normally cause me to have a harder time learning than some of the students, but she adapted the theory and the practical in a way that helped me understand and I feel so grateful for the intensive course which once completed, made me feel ready to continue my tattoo journey safely and professionally. “I’ve been going to Roma since 1999. That makes me feel oldddd, but other than the building becoming a part of Morrisons all those years ago, nothing else has changed. That’s a great thing. Superb coffee, great service, lovely staff, high quality deli produce and products, and the Tonno Bianco pizza is still my favourite pizza of all time. I’d always highly recommend this fantastic deli/cafe”

“Definitely the biggest (pun intended) oversized menswear store in the North. The staff were lovely, very patient and helped me find exactly what I wanted. The selection is huge and the prices are very fair for the high quality on offer here. They can also change the clothes to fit you perfectly if needed.”

“We’ve been here twice recently because it’s just so good! The first time I had the Turkish eggs with halloumi and sausage, then the second time I went for the chicken and pancakes, both were amazing. One visit was around 11am on a Saturday and there was about a 15-minute wait, but definitely worth it. The other time we went a bit later and got a table straight away. You can book ahead, but they also keep some tables for walk-ins. Staff are nice and friendly and really good to accommodate allergies too”

“I've used this shop several times even though it's not local to me, its a proper old school shop manned by blokes who know what they are talking about unlike some of the national chains out there. My latest visit was to purchase a new battery for my Seat Leon they tested the old one and explained what the issue was and the fact that the battery was on its way out and the fact that this was causing several functions on the vehicle to shut down and create warning lights as the car was trying to conserve power by turning stuff off. Great shop”

“We have ordered breakfast for delivery from here a number of times now and I can honestly say it’s the best we’ve had in a long time, every single time we haven’t been disappointed. Food is piping hot when it arrives and is beautifully presented you can tell the staff take pride in their food and service. The little touches make such a difference and the staff write little messages on the boxes and receipts saying thank you, or enjoy etc. Will definitely be visiting in person at some point.”
