“Rooms are quiet and comfortable, and The Old Vicarage is conveniently located. Breakfast was excellent, well cooked, and very tasty. Hosts are very friendly and did offer an evening meal which can be made to order, but the room I stayed in had a little kitchen area which you could prepare food for yourself if needed.and there are several pubs close by where food is available. There's no TV in the rooms, but that didn't really bother me, I would definitely stay here again.”

“I have to be totally honest this is got to be one of the best chineses I've had for a long time. It was really reasonably priced and when we got home it was tasty delicious I couldn't fault the meal all. The lady that served as behind the counter was so polite very attentive and are Chinese only took 10 minutes. I would definitely go back here again value-for-money and exceptionally tasty food the chicken balls were crispy light and piping hot the duck and the pancakes were delicious and the chowmein was fantastic and it wasn't greasy at all. all which is a win-win for me. Will be definitely going here again for a takeaway thank you so much for a lovely dinner. And absolutely love the fortune cookies and I taste really nice as well.”

“The hotel is close to the city centre and close to many amenities. The rooms are spacious and have everything you may need for a short or long stay. The service is outstanding, the staff is super nice and welcoming. The breakfast is complementary for sleeping guests, and it's really good both in quantity and quality. I stayed there two times and really enjoyed it, it will be my hotel of choice whenever I need to stay overnight in that area. Highly recommend! :)”

“The West End Ivy is an ideal restaurant while out for a show or two. Making reservations on OpenTable guarantees seating. It is so nice to be greeted by a doorman, and the ambiance is classic and refined. Service is impeccable. We opted for standard seating, but next time, I would love to sit at the bar as well. Either are good choices. We chose the Ivy's classic starters and mains, which were excellent. Having ample time, we also chose coffee and dessert. All in all, our dinner was a great evening out.”

“We held my brother’s wedding celebration at The Woolpack Inn this afternoon and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. We wanted a relaxed, family-style buffet for a small wedding gathering, and it was absolutely perfect. The food was far better than we expected, plentiful, beautifully presented, and with a real touch of luxury. The service was outstanding; every member of staff was polite, attentive, and genuinely caring. Nothing was too much trouble, and every little detail was looked after. A small issue arose during the afternoon, and it was dealt with kindly and professionally, a real credit to the team. Special thanks to Dan, the manager, who was a pleasure to deal with throughout the booking process and so helpful on the day itself. We would highly recommend The Woolpack Inn for any small celebration. They helped make our family day truly special, and we’ll definitely be back soon to dine in the restaurant.”

“Such a lovely stay in this hotel cannot fault it at all. Room was perfect we had booked a standard double and it seemed so much more than that, unsure if we were upgraded but seemed very spacious for a standard. Free standing bath was amazing, had double sinks and a spacious shower too. The spa was lovely it was peaceful and relaxing, staff were very welcoming and polite, had 2 coffees in there which were lovely. Made use of all spa facilities which were in good condition, not overcrowded at all which was nice. Provided robes, slippers and towels in the locker you are given. The hotel was clean and looked so lovely, we had breakfast in the morning which is great value for what you can get, I made good use of the hot drinks machine. Overall amazing hotel, friendly staff, would definitely recommend. Thank you.”

“Super cool to wake up next to a formula 1 race track. Upon arrival we did not know that there was a race track but opened up the curtains in the morning and saw the grandstands and the main raceway for Silverstone race track. Very nice rooms and good breakfast. Easy parking. Also a huge F1 store attached to it.”

“We have a new favourite! Last night was our first meal from here because our long-standing regular is closed on a Monday, and I'm so glad we took a chance. So many Chinese takeaways are bland, or monotone in the flavours, but not here. My house special curry was bursting with flavour and a welcome, but not overpowering, spicy kick. My wife said her beef chow mein, shredded beef and sweet and sour chicken were incredibly tasty, again with a welcome variety of flavour, and a lovely sour edge to the sweet and sour, rather than just sickly sweet. Added to that, the portions were very generous (I got two helpings from mine, which is unusual), and it wasn't just bulked out - there was plenty of meat. The final unexpected bonus was not only free prawn crackers, but also free spring rolls - again, more than what we usually get. Overall we were both blown away, and both agreed that we will be using Welcome Precious as our new regular from now on. Well done!”

“Me and my 4 children stayed at The Stable Yard end of July for 3 nights, and it was very comfortable the children were a bit cautious at first because they had never stayed in a rural location before like this and one of my children carry an EpiPen so she has sever allergies to dust, hay fever, no allergic reaction at all so all good, they were very pleased to see the horses so close up, in the morning’s , we could literally open the door and there were stables across the path, we could not even hear the horses they were so quiet. The host Clarla greeted us and we were left to it. The children were so pleased with our stay that they cannot wait to come back!! I Just wish we had more time to explore the surroundings as there were walks that we could have gone on to take in all that natural countryside views and woodlands. The water was Hot on demand, even with all children showering every day twice, heating took us a bit of getting used to but we worked it out, didn’t really need it, after our first night as the weather improved. A very pleasant stay, the amenities were excellent everything we needed was provided. Our stay was in The Aintree & The Epsom, dishwashers and a washing machine provided, kitchen with cutlery, oven in each, bathrooms were clean too with everything provided towels, loo rolls, ironing boards, iron, kettle, toaster in each apartment. “Just had Christmas Lunch at the hotel. Can’t fault the food on any level, and the service team were really hard working and had a smile on their faces the whole day. An excellent day, well done!”

“I can count how many times with my fingers I have been to a Turkish restaurant. This restaurant is round the corner from the main market square and Waitrose, which are the main landmarks to me who is not familiar with St Neots. However, the quality of the food and service exceeded my expectation when comparing those Turkish restaurants which I have been to in London and Istanbul respectively. We went for the lunch menu (on a Saturday) - £13.99 for a two-course meal.  I had battered calamari rings for starter. They turned out to be very crispy outside while moist and soft inside. Then I had chicken shish. The chicken cubes were so moist and tasty. I also ordered a 500ml bottle of Turkish beer to share with my friend. The restaurant's owner kindly gave us some bulgur to try. The restaurant was super clean as it had been renovated not long ago. I ended the meal with a well-presented slice of Banoffee pie. Will definitely go back to try other dishes on the lunch menu.”
