“Heard about 5 Akhis (which means “five brothers”) and made the trip up from London to check it out… And honestly, it was worth it. The burgers are seriously scrumptious! We tried a mix: the Classic, the OG Classic, and the chicken burger called the Blazing Bird. Every one hit the spot. The loaded fries are another level… We went for the Chicken Strips Remix, which comes stacked with fries, cheese sauce and ranch sauce.. Proper comfort food! Prices are decent too: around £13–16 for a burger meal, and £7.99 for loaded fries that are big enough to share. The place itself is pretty small, only seats about 8–10 people max, so it’s worth ordering ahead because it does get busy. Service was really friendly, and you can tell they care about what they’re serving. I’ll definitely be going back! Highly recommend if you’re in the area and want a proper good burger”

Absolutely loved the decor, I will definitely be heading back and really want to try their food truck Fridays.”

The taste of the dishes was as delightful as their presentation, and they truly stood out. The freshly made naan breads and the variety of herbs in the dishes were fantastic. Additionally, the friendly service provided by the staff was commendable. While the restaurant doesn't serve alcohol, guests are welcome to bring their own, which actually helps keep the overall cost down. Speaking of prices, they are already quite reasonable. “You will feel like you are in the African savanna. I suggest you to take at least two tours. Some wild animals come out to the area for you to watch after 13:00 or 14:00. Also, consider the happiness that the naughty monkeys will give you by making adrenaline rage inside you. It is a wonderful feeling.”

“I really enjoyed my time here. Went for a family meal, and there was a wide choice of food for everyone. Quality of the food was great, and nobody had any issues. The venue was clean and welcoming, but maybe a little on the cold side with the change in temperature that day - but cant really blame them for that. Staff were all really nice and gave a great quality of service. The venue was great for us as a family to come, but it would equally be fine for just a couple to go to. My only point for improvement would be the beer selection wasnt exactly to my taste, but it might be to yours. Will definitely be making a trip there again, and hopefully when the canal museum is open too.”

“Had a lovely , peaceful one night stay. Great location. The pub and restaurant adjacent was closed for refurbishment but did not bother us as we were visiting family , but will look forward to trying it next time. Rooms were comfortable. Little extra touches ...fridge , microwave, hairdryer, bath and shower gel ( nice product). Lovely large , very comfy bed . A great walk from hotel and right on the canal. We will return. Thank you”
