“Our first visit tonight and it won't be our last. Had chicken goujons to start - with a good side salad - not just a garnish - and a tasty dip. Then bangers and mash. A very generous portion with 3 tasty sausages, peas, mash and onion gravy. Struggled to eat it all. Service with a smile from the barman. Will definitely return.”

“This cafe is a good place to stop whilst on a walk, a bike ride or even if you are going to the park. With a wide selection of cakes and drinks then cafe has a favourite choice of everyone's. Prices are quite reasonable and staff are really friendly and well mannered.”

“It is a basic cafe with a good selection of options using what appeared to be fresh ingredients where possible. It was clean Toilets were clean Food was what I expected at the price advertised. Staff were friendly without being fake about it. We cleared our plates and didn't leave hungry. Perhaps a radio on or a bit of music might help the atmosphere but not a big deal. I'm not saying this is the type of place you would arrange your day around but as I was passing and fancied a quick bite to eat we gave it a go. Pic is of a Jacket spud with butter, cheese & beans. (Likely some marg type spread instead of butter but it tasted fine) Salad was lovely and fresh.”

“We had an amazing evening celebrating a family birthday. The welcome, service, atmosphere, and food were all outstanding, and we all had a fantastic time! The choice of dishes is very varied, so there are traditional classics on there as well as world fusion dishes - the chorizo Scot h egg was a definite winner! “I walked here from the town centre, it was approximately 1.5 mile along the Nene Valley, which is a river and it's surrounding wetlands. The cafe is very nice, it's in the same building as Northampton Active, which hire kayaks and rafts, the toilets are also shared (Waterside Cafe & Northampton Active).”

“Had a coffee while I waited for my car to be serviced so was there a while. Quite a few elderly people came in on their own, and I was very impressed with how friendly the staff were to them, taking the time to stop for a chat, bringing drinks over them if they couldn't manage to carry them, and generally checking in that they were ok.”

“Booked for a large family table for a Sunday roast! Was absolutely delicious, so kind to the children! The cauliflower cheese was to die for, everything was just so yummy. Staff so friendly and helpful and made you feel very at home. Will deffo be back!”

“This pub took us ages to find. We needed a child friendly pub that was showing the football. We must have called at least 20 and had no luck! Lady was very friendly on the phone. We walked in and was greeted with a smile. The staff were all lovely.the food was incredible very tasty and very good value for money. For a family of 6 we all had drinks a meal and a dessert and spent around £80 Lots to choose from on the menu. Chef was great. Atmosphere for the footy was great! Had a lovely afternoon. Thankyou.”

“Amazing food cooked perfectly! Food options are brilliant, pizzas, paninis, fresh smoothies and beautiful cakes! They even sell homemade bread! The staff are always friendly and happy to help in any way possible! There’s plenty of room to chill with friends, grab lunch or get some work done! Couldn’t recommend any more highly!”

“Had a lovely late lunch here today! The food was good for the price, I had a chicken burger, which was cooked well and very crispy with flavourful chips! The mango smoothie and chocolate and raspberry milkshake were also better than expected. The whole café had a great atmosphere, despite being in a busy supermarket and the service was fantastic! Reeve was our main server today and he was great! Really polite and provided fantastic service, with knowledge of the food as well as his own opinion”

“Came in for food on Sunday as carvery. Also had discount code sent through. Waited a little bit in the queue at the bar, but was fine. Carvery looked really good, everything we had was great & guy on carvery was nice. Will be going back again soon”

“I stayed here not so long ago when away on business just outside Bedford. The apartments were stunning - clean and the facilities were more than I expected. Cooking for yourself and having free Wi-Fi makes it very cost effective too...”

“I booked here to attend the GP at Silverstone but due to unforseen circumstances I had to cancel then I was recovering so well was given permission from the hospital to attend. All through this Gill was going out of her way to accommodate me. It was a lovely experience and I would recommend this establishment without hesitation. Beautiful clean room and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. Well worth the money.”

“Absolutley lovely cottages. 14 of us were down for a fishing trip. Honestly, these cottages were perfect for us. Had everything you could ask for. I would not hesitate to go back to these amazing cottages. The living area was great with an open-plan living room/kitchen area. The bedrooms were spotless and the beds were so comfy. The bathroom was more of the same, clean and tidy, and the shower was amazing too. Thank you so much for an amazing stay. We will hopefully be back again soon”
