“SPLAT is outstanding! My daughter started with splat last November settling quickly and comfortably into the Toddler room. During this time she was diagnosed with Epilepsy which was extremely difficult. I thought that this might mean she can no longer attend nursery I explained the diagnosis and my concerns to Gina who reassured me that my daughter could still attend. Going into details of the next steps moving forward which included an individual care plan, notebooks to record any seizures and first aid protocols for emergencies. During this time my daughter transitioned from the toddler room to the preschool room as well as welcoming a new sibling. There was a lot of change happening for her, Gina made sure to help with the transition and offer a lot of support to my daughter throughout. The room transition was seamless! Kirsty was already aware of everything that was in place continuing the amazing support we were receiving, always making sure that the care plan is up to date and making any changes when needed. Taking the time to get to know us and check in regularly wether it’s on the days my daughter attends nursery or if she has hospital appointments. Jody has also formed an amazing bond with my daughter, now being her key worker keeping me up to date with any development milestones and observations also answering any questions I might have. Jody offers extra support on the harder days taking the time to help understand my daughter feelings, offering a lot of reassurance and comfort whilst keeping myself updated. Kirsty, Jody and Tanya are brilliant! They all truly care about every child there which is clear to see. Really making an effort to engage the children and develop them in a very individualised way, letting them take the lead in their learning and helping them build on their interests. Management are equally amazing. Gemma, Ellie and Gina are committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment. They take the time to reach out, see how we are both doing and if there is anything they can help with further. I’m so glad that my daughter is still able to attend as the forest school and woodwork shed are such a big part of SPLAT and is truly unique. She thoroughly enjoys her time learning new skills such as using hammers, sanding and sawing with careful supervision from the practitioners and forest school leaders who are fantastic! Her favourite is getting muddy in the forest exploring, enjoying her morning and afternoon snacks around the fire pit. I also know that whilst attending nursery she is getting a very good variety of healthy, filling and nutritional food. The chef uploads these to the app which all look delicious, going into details of each meal I’ve learnt a lot in regards to how these certain ingredients benefit our children’s health. Can’t thank the staff enough and I’m extremely grateful to have found such an amazing setting!”

“We held a board game event for my son over the weekend. We had 40 people attend and everyone was over the moon with this venue. Fantastic kithen facility with a separate bar and plenty of tables and chair's. So clean you could eat your dinner from the floor. With caretaker and booking secretary who are easy to work with . The hall can hold significantly more than 40. I would recommend this hall to anyone .”

“Our son went to pre-school here (age 3-4). He always loved going, learned loads, continued to develop his confidence and was always doing interesting stuff, like handling snakes, learning about space or simply making stuff. Their rates are also reasonable, with all food taken care of. Staff were really lovely. Would recommend to anyone, and if we ever made the mistake of having another kid, we'd happily send them there too.”
