“Took my my mum for afternoon tea today. The food was really very nice and plentiful. The staff were welcoming and very kindly moved us to an outside table as we found it too warm in the room where they had first laid the table. I felt it was good value and we couldn’t manage to eat everything so requested a box to take the rest home which the staff provided. The garden centre itself is quite small but does have a decent plant area, lots of pots to buy, a pet shop and a small gift shop. They do have a lot of summer houses and garden furniture on show. They also have animals eg rabbits, guines pigs, ducks, chickens, goats and a large tortoise and you can buy grain to feed the goats. I would definitely recommend the afternoon tea and the rest of the menu looks good as well.”

“Found on Riverside retail park. Plenty of parking.. Parking is free. This is a Next home, as well as a clothes Next. Upstairs there's a cafe- Costa coffee. There is an escalator upstairs. There's also a lift at the back of the store. . Toilets are upstairs.. It's a relatively big store. In the middle at the back you'll find Virgin travel. A lovely sized shoe section. Furniture is downstairs, beds and bedroom accessories are upstairs.. Clothes are downstairs. Till service was fast and efficient. A pleasure to shop here, I cannot fault this store. Currently you'll find the Christmas jumpers have arrived!! ( October 2023 )”

“Stayed here as close to wedding venue at Furtho Farm . Smallish rooms with single beds , but fine for the 2 nights we were all in one area and had 3 rooms . Breakfast very nice in a lovely traditional dining room . Not easy to find post code and our taxis were very lost . Be well prepared if going to the wedding / event farm . Thank you to the lovely lady owner who was very helpful .”

“Great service throughout. Toby is an amazing designer and very knowledgeable, they have all been very nice to deal with. The shop replaced a few of the damaged panels without question. Toby was very accommodating with the issues I’ve had with plasterers. To top it off, Shaun and Jake have done an outstanding job fitting the quartz. I would highly recommended.”

“B&M home Store is located out the centre of town on the london road. set on the old st johns goods station yard there is good parking. spaces can be on the tight side with a few disabaled parking spaces by the Store. If you use b&m you will know what they sell with the aisles being a bit tight getting around when the staff are restocking the shelfs the carpark is shared by other nearby stores”

“WOW what a stay!! From the moment we walked through the door, Adam made us feel so welcome. We checked into our room which was lovely and booked for food in the evening, which was amazing. We stayed for 2 night and staff were super friendly and chatty, we didn't want to leave and would defiantly stay again. This is a beautiful local restaurant with only 9 room off it, all on the flat with easy access.”

“Perfect place for buying pretty bedding for our holiday cottages in France. There is a wide selection of colours, styles and price ranges for all bed sizes. “My wife and I would like to voice our appreciation to the Manager and Staff on the Furniture Department Milton Keynes. We had a few issues with our order, which were dealt with by the staff and particularly the Manager in the Milton Keynes Branch. Also Elaine on customer service, at the end, once all furniture was delivered. We would have no concerns buying any items from this store, as the customer service from the Branch was second to none. We will be highly recommending anyone to shop at this Branch..Paula”

“A wonderful place to stay if you are in Stony Stratford! The hotel carries its own history within the town, and the people are incredibly welcoming and lovely. I initially booked for two nights but ended up extending my stay with zero hassle. The pub is an experience in itsel, you’ll meet friendly locals who welcome you with open arms and great conversations. The food is also fantastic, delicious, hearty, and filling. Such a charming place full of great people. Definitely a must-visit if you’re ever in town! ☺️”

“Calcutta is great Indian restaurant located in a beautiful historic building in the picturesque town of Stony Stratford. We ordered, scallops, king prawns, chicken and lamb. All of which was cooked very nicely and had very nice flavour. Overall considering location, decor, service and food Calcutta Brasserie gets a 5 star rating. Recommended.”

“Nice place, easy to manoeuvre around. Always parking spaces outside as it's on a retail park. A toilet upstairs, and a lift is available for customer use. A small cafe upstairs too selling hot and cold food. Busiest times seem to be Saturdays... Many tills so service always seems to be fast..”

“Ordered something through B&Q app as the third part but order never arrived. Wasn't getting anywhere with Monster shop who was the seller. Constantly chasing them as too where my order was etc but had no luck. Popped into B&Q wellingborough and the lovely man ( Michael we think) Was so helpful and refunded me my money. A big thank you for all your help today.”

“Visited Towcester for the weekend, popped in on the 10th October for evening dinner, was pretty busy but food came out quick and hot. We sadly did have to rush as our table was booked for another group shortly after us. We decided to return on the 11th with a booking this time. Food was honestly 10/10, service was amazing and couldn't have asked for a better birthday meal. Many thanks to the staff for an enjoyable experience!”

“The food I've always brought from here has been fantastic. The chips are great, cooked just right and are not greasy and they are so tasty. Sausages, battered or normal are great. Onion rings delicious with crispy batter and not greasy. Mushy peas stay hot for ages, and the cod is fantastic. Best thing is, it's only three minutes from door to door. Oh, and the service is good too.”

My wife always finds something stylish without breaking the bank, and my son loves checking out the kids’ section—there’s always something fun or comfy for him. The store is well-organized, prices are fair, and they’ve got a great mix of fashion, basics, and homeware. Staff are friendly and approachable, and even during busy hours it never feels chaotic. Plenty of parking outside too. It’s just one of those places where you always walk out with more than you planned—but in a good way!”
