I had lambs liver and bacon with onions and mashed potatoes, as I don't enjoy cabbage I asked for mushrooms instead which was duly served and delicious. “We went to the Kings Arms to celebrate my daughter's birthday. My husband and I had never visited before; however, it is local to my daughter and her partner and they had highly recommended the food and cocktails. We all had a fabulous meal and delightful cocktails. I always choose a salad, if it is interesting and different, not just lettuce, cucumber and tomato. This did not disappoint, especially with the addition of two sea bass fillets. We left feeling extremely happy and very full, we will definitely return, thank you! ☺️”

There were other people in the pub that we knew and they had really enjoyed their meals too and we all said we'd happily return (for pudding, another day as we're all full this time). “I have visited here with different people over the last couple of weeks. The first time, my friend and I ordered the Super grain salad. It doesn't say anywhere in the ingredients there's anything hot or spicy in it, but neither of us could eat it! We asked if they could check with the chef and he said there's a coating on the grains that isn't mentioned. They apologized and changed our meals for another one with no fuss.”

“First visit with the new chef, the food was very good and my husband’s steak was cooked to perfection. Wine selection was good, I had a glass of the Argentinian Malbec which I really enjoyed so of course I had to have a top up. We received a warm friendly welcome from the owner and the bar staff who kindly found us a table as we hadn’t booked. I would recommend booking as the pub was busy which created a good atmosphere. “Really nice place to relax or if you prefer to watch sports there are plenty of televisions around to get a good view of one. The restaurant area looks really nice however, I've not eaten there (yet) so cannot comment on the food quality. The staff are really welcoming and polite. I'd recommend this place to all. Only issue I personally have is the fact I'm a real ale drinker and they only have a choice of two but that is not going to prevent me from continuing to go there.”
