The sales assistant was friendly and chatty as she informed us of the latest deals and trends on offer. We ended up getting not only the sandals we came for but two pairs of shoes for my daughter too as the selection was so impressive. In fact I had to stop myself buying more! There was a good variety of affordable shoes as well as some slightly pricier brand names, as well as a selection of different bags. We will definitely be returning.”

“Located in the Graften Center there is plenty of parking in the attached multi story car park that offers disabled parking bays. The store and car park are at opposite ends of the center making it quite a walk if you have mobility problems. The store itself offers an extensive range of good quality clothes to suit all ages and gender and are reasonably priced. The staff are helpful and polite with a good knowledge of their stock.”

“It is always refreshing to find a retailer that offers something more than mere goods. It would in fact be more accurate to describe Edward Green as a manufacturer that is happy and proud to sell its products directly to the public. And in doing so comes a passion for its products that was manifest in the service I received. The factory shop is not a swanky affair and is housed in a corner of the factory floor. But the stars of the show are the shoes. There is a good range of the firm’s products on offer in all sizes. I knew exactly what I wanted and was not disappointed - a plain black loafer. My only problem was that I could happily of bought at least another two pairs of shoes that I saw. But the most important message I wish to leave is that this is a place for people who appreciate quality and are happy to pay for it. Edward Green shoes are at the top end when it comes to price, but there are genuine savings to be had if you are prepared to make the trip to the factory. And I have to mention the young man who served me. He was not a salesman in the traditional sense but one of the manufacturing team which meant he brought a depth of knowledge to the product that is unique. I could happily have spent all morning hearing about the leathers and techniques involved in the manufacturing process - which probably says as much about me as him. One final thing - Edward Green’s sizing is different to other shoes I have had in the past,including Church’s and Crockett & Jones, so be prepared to go up a size or two to find a comfortable fit.”

After a long work trip away I decided I wanted to treat myself to a new top for the upcoming weekend away however I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to look! Gave Heidi a brief of what I wanted. 8 tops pulled of the racks within minutes, some taking me out my norm! Two tops purchased. Friendly service isn’t the right description for service at Heidi’s as I feel like it’s more than that; that Heidi and Julie are friends that know me well, know what I like while at the same time encouraging to try something different. Why spend ages walking around Lakes for new clothes when everything can be done in the comfort of Heidi’s.”
