“A really enjoyable experience at a small local cinema. We didn't have to drive 15 miles to get there, we didn't have to remortgage the house for the tickets and snacks, and the staff were professional and friendly. We went to see Inside out 2 and there was plenty of spare seats which surprised me. Use it or lose it people it was a much nicer experience than the larger cinemas and well worth a visit.”
“Great little theatre. We need to support community theatre more in this country. I've seen some incredible plays here in recent years - passionate local performers, and the calibre is superb. At a time when big theatres bring less and less proper plays to the city, we need venues like this more than ever.”
“Saw Hammer to Fall there last Saturday, my Fiancé son is the lead guitarist, they have played in many venues, but this venue was really lovely ,really nice staff, and great sound , really would come here again to see other groups”
“A brilliant price with some brilliant actors who put their al linto their performance - a charity that is making they're accessible to the people of Yarmouth.”
“Very impressive and staff were very nice”
“Wonderful little cinema. Lovely welcome from the staff. Very good coffee. Extremely comfortable seats. Good sound. Will definitely visit again when next in the area”
“Went there today with my wife and two children and we were treated with nothing but polite friendliness. Great choice of unusual film and TV merchandise and thought it was very reasonably priced.”
“What a panto! Five of us attended on opening night. This had all the traditional elements of a good family panto with enough enuendo to satisfy those of us more senior in years too. Well worth a visit. Don't miss it.”
“Our family had a really wonderful time here today. We visited looking for something to do on a rainy day, but we would more than happily go back on any day in future! Kept our 5 and 2 year old happy for hours today and we could have stayed even longer they were having so much fun. This is a real hidden gem, thank you so much Karen for introducing us to your magical puppetry world! Would highly recommend.”
“My daughter had a lead role in a recent production of six and absolutely loved it. She had great vocal and dance coaching and the costumes and production values were very professional which made it a fantastic experience for her. The show itself was brilliant and our whole family had a great time watching. Everyone at broadway Bellas was friendly and supportive whilst being really knowledgeable and helping her learn lots of new skills. I would highly recommend them all!”
“Definitely one of my fave places in Norwich, delighted they've opened a second year running. Beautiful garden in grounds of the church. Real attention to detail with floodlight Church and fairy lights under mature trees. Carefully curated food and drink menu including pizzas, tasting boards and the best dessert! Honeycomb toffee to die for! Have recommended to countless friends for a great ambience and people.”
“Truly professional productions in a lovely, comfortable and welcoming theatre by a very talented team. Always entertaining.”
“This university is the best. Offering so many buildings on the site of an old monastery and a plague pit. It offers some fantastic architecture and talent and is perfectly situated in the city.”
“We attended a couple of talks which were part of the Norfolk Autumn Festival. Pleasant studio and staff were very helpful.”
“First visit. Great little open floor venue. Some banked bench seating plus individual chairs on the floor itself. Drinks can be brought in from the bars inside the main theatre building just across the pathway outside (2 mins walk). We went and bought drinks before the show and then got more drinks and ice cream during interval, to enjoy at our seats.”
“The Village Hall is a wonderful little space, where the whole community enjoy the amenities, and beautiful open spaces. Having met a few of the locals whilst gas replacement work was going, and even though we were the culprits bringing a little bit of upheaval to their village, we were greeted every day by friendly, understanding, and very supportive locals. Just wish we'd been at The Village Hall for the communal fish and chip supper on the eve of The Grand National. A wonderfully spirited and thriving community, with The Village Hall at the hub of it all.”
“Just bought TV from Chris, extremely helpful. Very friendly and great service. Would definitely recommend.”
“Lovely place for WEA courses. It's a beautiful building, with easy access”
“We've just had a child's birthday party, hosted by Ryan and Ellie. A really great experience: enthusiastic, helpful and friendly staff, kids had a fantastic time. Even better than expected!”
“Great pre show meal. Sea bass, lamb, lemon posset and cheesecake. Good service, slight mix up with the bill which was resolved. Great value for money. You can also order interval drinks and dessert to have at your table!”
“Castle Quarter is one of those places you wander into thinking you’ll spend ten minutes… and then suddenly it’s two hours later, you’ve eaten too much, played a game you never intended to play, and you’re somehow holding a shopping bag you don’t remember acquiring. It’s also super clean, well laid out, and has that safe, friendly feel that makes it great for families, date nights, or just escaping the weather for a bit. Overall? Castle Quarter is low-pressure fun with plenty of surprises. You go in for a wander and end up having an actual day out. Definitely worth popping into if you’re in Norwich!”
“Went in to order T-shirt fir grandson's birthday. I had a photo of the one he wanted so I thougjt it would be easy! Gosh I never knew Next had sooo many T-shirts available. The sales clerk, Koby was extremely helpful and patient until the specific T-shirt was found. An order was placed Such a happy shopper. Thank you Next for employing such lovely staff.”
“I completed the video training course last month with Eye Film. It was a fantastic course. I left the course with a professional video and I now feel comfortable continuing to make film and use the editing skills/tools required. It was run by a passionate and friendly team with many years of experience. The practical element of making your own film rums through the course and this embeds your learning. The course covered an introduction to video, what works and what doesn’t, what equipment to use /introduction to cameras/sound/editing, hands on camera and sound skills/interview techniques/hands on editing skills. I've left with ambitions to make more Film!”
“Very friendly people, who always give a great performance.”
“A brilliant theatre company for anyone aged between 5 and 18. My child have been with Slow Theatre for 7 years - I have watched her confidence bloom.”
“Absolutely amazing don't need to send me more than that”
“My family and I attended Sunday's performance of George and the Dragon. We were all completely enthralled at the skills on show. Grandsons aged 4 and 5 had differing views as to whether the dragon would appear whilst grandson aged 2 was transfixed from the animal noises at the beginning. The combination of puppetry, staging, humour, 'he's behind you' and declamation was perfectly judged. My daughters reminded me of their visits to the Da Silva puppet theatre when they were small. The explanations about the manipulations of the individual puppets and how they were made was especially interesting and several attempts have been made by now by the elder children. My 3-year old granddaughter liked the Princess best and knew the Chancellor was a fibber by his long Pinnochio-like nose, but she was outvoted by the two boys who particularly enjoyed the dragon and were disappointed that George triumphed. The speaking voices directly to the audiences were clear even for a slightly deaf grandfather, and the rolling of eyes by the young lady puppeteer and the interplay of visual humour between the two on stage was perfectly attuned to a young audience. Final words from the children - THANK YOU SO MUCH, WHY DID IT HAVE TO END? and WE HOPE WE CAN SEE ANOTHER SHOW SOON. Final words from the adults - EXCELLENT IN EVERY RESPECT, THANK YOU SO MUCH [We are just sorry we do not know the performers names].”
“Cannot recommend Little Shop of Hires enough. Exceptional, truly stunning set for our Matilda Jr production - it was magnificent to look at and elevated our production immensely. The team are professional, hard working and helpful and could not do enough for us. THANK YOU LITTLE SHOP OF HIRES!! We will certainly be using you again in the future. Sam ~ Performers Theatre Company”
