“First time at the Costa in Next, will definitely go again. Lovely iced watermelon and mint drink, and the banana and pecan loaf was amazing”
“Bread Source is big in Norfolk but this is the first time I have eaten in. The service wss happy and efficient and tbe sausage roll amazing and good tea to wash it down. It has that Community Cafe feel and was full of an eclectic mix from all walks of life, sone with laptops, others writing in journals or just chatting, it had a good feel.”
“A real suprise! Very interesting collection of art and antiquities.. I specifically went to see 'Hot Spot' by Mona Hatoum... Very powerful piece!!”
“Top notch and great value. Quirky and dog friendly”
“Sitting outside watching the ducks with their babies, whilst drinking a latte was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours. Inside the cafe it was very busy.”
“Very welcoming and dog friendly. Enjoyed a freshly made slice of lemon drizzle (just iced that minute). Perfect with a cup of coffee.”
“Café doesn’t quite seem enough to describe this place … it may not be a restaurant technically, but the quality of food and how helpful and friendly the staff are makes this my favourite place to eat in Diss”
“After making purchases at the adjoining nursery I do enjoy a coffee and cake. There is a lovely selection of food to be had here and can be enjoyed inside outside in the hidden garden. Good friendly service”
“Lovely coffee shop, great value and food. Sausage rolls to die for. So good had to pig out and reorder”
“Lovely atmosphere and super friendly staff. Food was delicious and arrived in good time. Was slightly on the pricy side (£41 for 2 breakfast and 2 coffees) but quality and taste comes with a price so nothing unexpected and was well worth it. Would go again!”
“Why haven't we found this store before. In Fakenham for first time and decided to pay a visit..absolutely brilliant. Coffee machine purchased at amazing price and set of lovely dinner plates in sale. Really helpful service. The furniture is beautiful. Will be visiting the Norwich store now we have found you.”
“Really enjoyed coming here. Excellent service. Tasty food. They crossed out /ticked items my son would be able to eat on the menu (he has an allergy) so it was easy and clear to see what he could have. Would definitely go back!”
“Polite friendly and reasonable price too Tucked away in quiet courtyard next to surgeons buthchers”
“These guys just know how to do it ✨right✨. Best coffee in the UK after a year all around, totally worth coming to Norwich for a day. Look at this glossiness! I feel like home, in the nerdiest coffee shops in Ukraine (we’re really nerdy on these lol). Also thx for some visitor’s tips!”
“We popped in on a Sunday morning after a couple of nights away just north of Norwich. Dixies is a haven for anyone who wants nicely cooked traditional cafe fare. 3 choices of breakfast size plus veggie, and a great selection of lunchtime meals. There are also daily specials during the week, and crumble or pie offered as well. We had breakfast which is great value and cooked really well - choice of toasted or fried bread, and black pudding available to add for a quid. Also a good selection of smaller plates and kids dinners as well. Dixies also takes card payment which is useful if you've not got cash on you. Really worth a visit, you won't go wrong.”
“Food was amazing so flavourful, initially the portions look small don’t let it deceive you was very filling. Cocktails (pistachios) was amazing, would come again for food or drink only. Great service also.”
“In a world of Costas and Starbucks, it was so nice to find a quaint traditional cafe/coffee shop in the heart of Wroxham. Very friendly staff and dog friendly too - our Chihuahua loved the staff and they loved her too. Nice coffee and a great selection of cakes including some very tasty Easter treats such as creme egg scotch eggs and brownie filled Easter egg halves. They do a full menu as well which other diners appeared to be enjoying. Well worth a visit.”
“We had an intimate wedding reception here just a couple of weeks ago (early June), and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Sebastian was the perfect host, taking care of everything, even though he was probably up against it, as all the planning was very loose on our side! Pretty much all the arrangements were done by email or video, with a couple of quick drop ins. The canapés were delightful and the food was fabulous. I forgot to take pictures after the canapés because it was all so delicious we all got stuck in!! The service was excellent, we had everything that was wanted to make this the most perfect wedding. Thanks so much Sebastian and also for all the wonderful waiting staff and the fabulous chefs! ❤️”
“Lunch Experience at Jarrod’s Pantry Today, I had the pleasure of enjoying my favorite pie for lunch at Jarrod’s top-floor Pantry restaurant. At first, I was ready to leave as I wasn't in the mood for another carvery. However, I spotted the steak and kidney pie on the menu and couldn’t resist! I went back to the counter and chose a delightful meal of boiled and roasted potatoes with fresh vegetables, paired with a refreshing bottle of mango juice. The pie was generously filled with steak and kidney, and the potatoes and vegetables were cooked to perfection. It truly made for an enjoyable meal! In total, my lunch cost £17.30, which kept me satisfied for the rest of the day. Jarrod’s is a relatively large restaurant, quite popular with the older generations. The staff-to-customer ratio is nearly always spot on, ensuring excellent service. Plus, there are several car parks within walking distance, making it an ideal place to meet up with friends or, like I did today, enjoy a meal alone.”
“Such a lovely coffee shop. We live locally and come in often with our small children. We are always welcomed warmly. Very accommodating with making up children's meals.”
“Lovely, friendly cafe with a super breakfast menu. And the pasties for lunch looked delicious!,”
“nice place, delicious tea latte, nice dishes and the atmosphere itself. the coffee shop is located on a busy street, but you feel calm inside”
“Had a great lunch here, excellent value and really tasty. The staff are also lovely and friendly. Would recommend!”
“A wonderful place where I always like to come back to drink my favorite coffee in peace. There are no electronic boards, which also allows you to enjoy your favorite coffee in peace. Wonderful peace in contrast to many other places.”
“Moored up in a hire cruiser about half a mile away and had a walk down with friends and the dogs. We managed to get seated outside which was perfect as the weather was glorious. Full English breakfasts all round. Absolutely delicious and at £11.95 I'd say bang on the average pricing. Top quality ingredients served on a nice hot plate, which is always a lovely touch. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely be calling in again.”
“Was happily greeted by a friendly older lady, and nothing was too much trouble! Victoria sponge was to die for, and coffee lovely and warm! All the staff seemed welcoming and pleasant. Lovely atmosphere, although saddened to see how rude 3 local ladies were to the servers, who in all honesty did all they could to rectify a mistake. Sadly some feel very entitled, but did not hamper my experience, and will definitely be back!”
“Exactly what we were looking for. The cafe is in a lovely quiet position away from roads etc down a pretty alley way. We got a friendly greeting and could choose our table. We had builders tea and delicious scones that had just been made. It was so relaxing just watching people going about their day whilst enjoying our tasty elevenses. Would recommend to holiday makers and locals like us. We feel so lucky to have lovely cafes like this to visit.”
“We were looking for somewhere and hadn't booked. Found this on the map. What a winner. I have a dairy allergy and they took it so seriously. They knew the menu inside and out. The location is stunning and would be lovely on a summer day. The food was enormous. Plentiful. Six in our group. 2 x sausage and mash. The only small complaint was the veg being a little too under cooked 1 x double house burger - handmade patty and my son loved it. 1 x kids chicken nuggets. I will say these looked lovely but for my fussy eater too much batter 1 x ricotta stuffed chicken breast. Again looked amazing 1 x vegan halloumi burger 1 x side of onion rings. All bar one couldnt finish the food. We did ask for the desert menu to be nosey but the staff forgot to bring. So we took it as a sign that was enough for us. Full belly's and happy kids. Its worth a visit”
“A good place to meet, coffee bar, library, pizza restaurant and info, toilets are available and you can sit outside on the steps leading up to the Forum, often special events take place there often”
“Its lovely, very peaceful. Its great for a stroll, lots of trees and plants, there's ponds and larger bodies of water, with ducks, swans etc. There's a boat ride available at extra cost. The cafe was nice, good value as was the shop, worth a visit.”
