“Our family love coming to Mrs B's, and my dog Fang especially does! He adores the fuss and treats and always gets excited to go in the cafe ❤”
“We only live local but this is one of our favourite local places to go for coffee. Also now do a great breakfast roll with hash browns just great. The new under cover area is great with heaters for the evening and sliding doors to keep warm in the cooler days. Always a great atmosphere with music and live music on Sunday and different events going on most weeks. Also come here are a long ride or run too, great to stop and grasp coffee & cake”
“Popped into our favourite coffee lounge for hot chocolate and cheese scone (cheese scones are the best for miles around especially when heated) It was 10 am on Saturday and already busy, however this didn't affect the service - the girls always had a smile on their faces and couldn't do enough for you. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. We didn't feel rushed as can often be the case in some coffee places. Lots of little spaces with puffy sofas and easy chairs. Would always recommend to family and friends.”
“Our first visit on the way through Norfolk. Just stopped for coffee but the food looked nice and customers looked like they were enjoying theirs. Friendly staff.”
“We had a fabulous dinner at Shambles a couple of weeks ago. It was a quiet Tuesday night but the service was swift and friendly and the Chicken Chasseur was delicious. Wine was great, generous glasses and at a reasonable price. Lovely setting and delightful decor. I highly recommend it.”
“Wow!! I'm half Austrian and my work here is done lol. As well as usual Bacon rolls/burgers etc you can buy Currywurst/German Bratwurst, and schnitzel!! Only tried the Currywurst so far, but very good, especially the curry sauce! Danke schon! Dan”
“Came here for a bite to eat with my partner and baby. Friendly staff and great quailty food. We sat outside as there's not alot of room for Strollers, even though there's alot of traffic and noise it was still nice to be outside and my baby slept while we were eating. We will be back again soon.”
“A lovely, quirky little tearoom serving delicious savorys and cakes. Definitely worth tracking down, especially if you've been to Raveningham Hall Gardens.”
“Here from the U.S., we are staying nearby and stopped in for a quick drink at the pub. Everyone was so incredibly nice and welcoming we ended up staying for hours drinking and talking. Highly recommend a visit here. This is an amazing little pub. The locals are wonderful, and the owner is just the best!”
“Came for breakfast today with my little boy and partner and will definitely be returning. Was the loveliest experience which was made better by real personable, attentive staff. It’s rare to find a business where the people want to have genuine conversation with you. Food was perfect, all in all perfect! Thank you”
“One of the few places that service Faltered coffee and In a high quality. I visited the coffee daily during my stay in Nowrich and every day it was the same great quality. Finally I would like to thank Marcus and Teller who were very kind and polite.”
“Had a great Monday lunch here recently August 2024. Simple but very fresh food, that tasted great and looked great on the plate. The 3 other people with me had an equally great experience. They finished off with Cake which they said was fantastic, I was looking after my waist line, which I regretted later. Well priced, amazing atmosphere, very clean and great service.”
“This is a delightful, cosy and welcoming café in the heart of Norwich. We enjoyed a pot Russian Caravan tea and a delicious slice of lemon and almond cake. The added bonus is that it is open late every night of the week (until 11pm or 10:30 on Sundays). That makes it a great spot if you are looking for somewhere to relax and hang out with friends (or just read a book) without going to a pub or a restaurant. They play good music (but not too loud) and the place is clearly popular with locals, being reasonably busy even on a chilly Monday evening in October. Wish I lived just round the corner from a place like this.”
“It's a really cosy spot in Wroxham to relax and watch the boats float past. Delicious selection of cakes, baked fresh on site every day. Tea served the proper way in a teapot. Very comfortable furniture, in relaxing surroundings and friendly proprietor. Will definitely be returning.”
“This is a lovely venue - great for hot desking, small meetings or just catching up with friends. The cakes looked great but I did not try any so can't comment on quality but the coffee was pleasantly rich in flavour. I had to book a meeting room at short notice and the team were great at finding me space and making me feel welcome. Thank you Jason, Joel and Hugh.”
“Lovely food. Delivered breakfast this morning and was great. It was late by 30 minutes but they are new to just eat. Nice food and ge wrous portions.”
“Visited on day before Good Friday. Was served by very nice young lady. We had a scone and chocolate brownie and Flat white and orange juice. Lovely location, friendly welcome and chatter, nicest scone I had ever had too. I had a moan about flat whites having less volume than a Latte. The young lady made mine in a larger Latte cup, bonus .... Very reasonable prices too. I normally pay £3.80 upwards for a flat white but this was £3.20. Will become a regular stop of ours in future.”
“A delightfully authentic Italian deli in the centre of Norwich. I treated myself to a feast for lunch which included pizza slices, a sausage roll, and the best of all: a focaccia with olives, pesto and tomato. Absolutely top-notch food, and the look and feel of the place is also something to write home about. Highly recommended!”
“The big pie is well worth getting if you are feeling hungry. Sunday dinners are value for money. I think You have to book as it gets busy. So tables are reserved so no waiting Great landlord and landlady. Very friendly place.”
“Never been before but decided to give it a try one Friday night. Ordered two vegan burgers with chips and a couple of drinks. Food was fantastic, everything was very fresh, flavourful, carefully prepared and tasted delicious. Service was lovely even though they had a sudden rush on. Ten out of ten all round, will definitely visit again and highly recommend.”
“An absolute gem in Norwich! We visited on a sunny day and opted to sit outside with a perfect spot for a leisurely brunch. The beetroot gnocchi was insane! 100% recommend - nothing short of favour. The staff were friendly, attentive, and added to the overall positive experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Norwich, this place is a must-visit for anyone looking for innovative brunch options. Highly recommend!”
“We popped in after a 4 hour hike on the Rockland St Mary Circular (highly recommend) and enjoyed a bowl of nourishing soup, followed by a couple of sweet delicate pastries. Lovely for the owners to be super welcoming. A real gem and special place to compliment the local beauty.”
“Came here for lunch with my friend and had the best toasties - shared halloumi, honey & harissa and a goats cheese and red onion. Hot and actually toasted and crunchy, delicious fresh bread aswell. Nice and comfortable place to sit and chat. Definitely come visit. Lots of sandwich and savoury options aswell as sweet treats.”
“Absolutely love this place, the staff are always happy and strive to make sure everything perfect, seating arrangement is perfect for comfort, food is very good and the staff are always happy to help if you want to customize your order. 100% recommend this place.”
“Not a review for cafe but as outside caterers. Expresso provided sandwiches, sausage rolls, quiche, cakes, fruit for our Diamond Wedding party. Very very good food. Special requirements covered without a fuss. Cakes especially gorgeous!”
“A lovely, quirky little tearoom serving delicious savorys and cakes. Definitely worth tracking down, especially if you've been to Raveningham Hall Gardens.”
“Perfect cafe and deli! First trip today with family. Food was lovely and fairly priced, cream tea portions very generous including a huge pot of tea. Staff very helpful Deli is very well stocked and locally supplied A perfect little gem, we will be back again (soon hopefully!)”
“Absolutely stunning garden centre! Popped up on Facebook as a place to visit and headed there the next day. The cafe is wonderful with a great selection of food from breakfasts, light lunches and light bites. First class plants, first class service and first class food. Thank you!”
“Really fun way to enjoy your tea and cake. Lots of options of drink, cake & sandwiches. Very friendly service. Good view over the common. Seating outside too for warmer days although you cannot see the common from there.”
“Love this place and its surroundings. I like how we can assemble our own breakfast and just choose what we like :) Mushroom was the highlight of my plate, very fresh and flavourful. Pork sausage is great too! The only thing was the oat latte was a bit weak, if you like stronger milk-added coffee then probably go for flat white or cappuccino.”
