“Stopped for a quick lunch on the way through Hingham. Despite clearly being busy we were seated and served very promptly. Staff were friendly, prices were good and the buck rarebit was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back next time we're that way.”
“The food was amazing! Such a lovely restaurant with lovely staff. Would highly recommend! :)”
“The workshop cafe is an absolute treat, I’d almost go as far as saying the best place to eat in Norwich. The small dishes are delicious, flavoursome and healthy. I love that it’s focussed on a breakfast/lunch/afternoon vibe rather than selling out for evening dinners. It’s decor is vivacious, relaxed and a little bohemian. Great to see you back in full flow after the pandemic. Thanks!”
“Wow! What a venue!!! We had our wedding here and I couldn't recommend it more. From start to finish, all the staff exceeded any expectations and couldn't do enough for you. It's a stunning venue, lots of room for dancing and a beautiful outdoor space with veranda which is perfect for photos. They helped us every step of the way and went out of their way to make sure it was just perfect. They let us drop decor off the day before and even set it all up perfectly so we could relax in the morning. Food was amazing, generous portions and the rooms are lovely. All our guests commented on how amazing the venue is and moreover the staff - they are such a credit to the place! Couldn't recommend more Thank you Beckiee and team - you are all superstars !!!!”
“Lovely little place for coffee and cake and catch up with a friend. I often use this as a place to meet friends. Last time it was a bit cold weather, so we sat in one of the little sheds and they have heaters in we actually had to turn it off as it got so hot. ☺️ The food is delicious and they even catered for my egg allergy.”
“We had an amazing ploughman’s lunch today. The bread was homemade as was the coleslaw. The onions were pickled in balsamic vinegar which were delicious. I had a lovely local cheese and my husband had a local ham. The butter was free a local farm. Well worth the money. Also a very friendly pub. Very well done.”
“Really good coffee, lots of options. Exceptional vegan cakes, we had the peanut butter and the tahini chocolate ones and they were amazing. The barista (Richard) was friendly and very knowledgeable. Really great atmosphere and will definitely be back!”
“Amazing coffee and friendly service! They have a great selection of cakes and other desserts. Would recommend :)”
“My hubby enjoyed his cappuccino and the brownie was delicious. Thank you for keeping my bag safe!”
“Really affordable delicious freshly cooked snacks and good. Great location. Will definitely be back”
“1st time visit here and it's brilliant. Food is excellent, service great and it's a cracking little place. Plenty of seating inside and out, highly recommended. Easy to find - satnav takes you straight there. Only downside is there's not a massive amount of parking out front but I didn't have an issue on my visit.”
“Full marks for quantity. Excellent range of food at very fair prices. Caren is a cheerful soul serving tasty food.”
“Forum Coffee House is the right place to go if you want to speak with a friend while having a snack. The friendly atmosphere is great. I recommend a visit.”
“Excellent place to go to. The tea was so good that I drank the whole teapot of tea (3cups). This is unknown for me because tea shops never make good tea. Well this one does.!!!! My friend had a latte which she said was very good and we both had cheese on toast which I would recommend to everyone. The ladies who run it are extremely nice and had time to spend a couple of minutes to chat. All in all we are going to make it our regular place. Especially as the prices were so good as well.”
“Absolutely incredible coffee. Some of the best I have ever had. Lovely service, knowledgeable guy serving and making the coffee. Excellent cookies too.”
“We discovered Bella Napoli whilst holidaying in Suffolk. We were really pleased to find an authentic independent Italian restaurant and was very impressed with the extensive choice on the menu, it was very hard to pick what to go with as so many dishes I wanted to try! In the end my partner and I both opted for a pizza over pasta; he went with a pepperoni one and I went with a create your own with chicken, pepperoni, onion and basis. There was lots of toppings to choose from. When the food arrived it looked delicious and it tasted really good. There was plenty of flavour to it and the ingredients seemed really fresh, the pepperoni slices were stand out! They were both very reasonably priced too at around £10 each which is cheaper than most other pizza restaurants, even chain ones which are not as good! There were 3 sizes to choose from. The staff were friendly and the decor inside was clean and modern. We both really enjoyed our visit to Bella Napoli and really hope they will open up a restaurant in Norfolk next!”
“This establishment is a former bank and a new Community Group have turned it into an arts venue keeping all the beautiful wood panels etc that were originally in the building! I have been here to see a stage performance where the cafe is transformed into a Theatre - Magic! I've been here to a knit and natter group but this time I came in for tea and cake with my husband! There was a lady enjoying a late lunch whilst sketching, there were another couple having lunch and another couple came in as we were leaving! There is a special board which has some tempting meals on it. A very special unique place in the centre of a dear little town!”
“One of the few places that service Faltered coffee and In a high quality. I visited the coffee daily during my stay in Nowrich and every day it was the same great quality. Finally I would like to thank Marcus and Teller who were very kind and polite.”
“Absolutely stunning garden centre! Popped up on Facebook as a place to visit and headed there the next day. The cafe is wonderful with a great selection of food from breakfasts, light lunches and light bites. First class plants, first class service and first class food. Thank you!”
“A real suprise! Very interesting collection of art and antiquities.. I specifically went to see 'Hot Spot' by Mona Hatoum... Very powerful piece!!”
“An absolute gem in Norwich! We visited on a sunny day and opted to sit outside with a perfect spot for a leisurely brunch. The beetroot gnocchi was insane! 100% recommend - nothing short of favour. The staff were friendly, attentive, and added to the overall positive experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Norwich, this place is a must-visit for anyone looking for innovative brunch options. Highly recommend!”
“We had a fabulous dinner at Shambles a couple of weeks ago. It was a quiet Tuesday night but the service was swift and friendly and the Chicken Chasseur was delicious. Wine was great, generous glasses and at a reasonable price. Lovely setting and delightful decor. I highly recommend it.”
“Never been before but decided to give it a try one Friday night. Ordered two vegan burgers with chips and a couple of drinks. Food was fantastic, everything was very fresh, flavourful, carefully prepared and tasted delicious. Service was lovely even though they had a sudden rush on. Ten out of ten all round, will definitely visit again and highly recommend.”
“Absolutely love this place, the staff are always happy and strive to make sure everything perfect, seating arrangement is perfect for comfort, food is very good and the staff are always happy to help if you want to customize your order. 100% recommend this place.”
“This is a delightful, cosy and welcoming café in the heart of Norwich. We enjoyed a pot Russian Caravan tea and a delicious slice of lemon and almond cake. The added bonus is that it is open late every night of the week (until 11pm or 10:30 on Sundays). That makes it a great spot if you are looking for somewhere to relax and hang out with friends (or just read a book) without going to a pub or a restaurant. They play good music (but not too loud) and the place is clearly popular with locals, being reasonably busy even on a chilly Monday evening in October. Wish I lived just round the corner from a place like this.”
“Love this place and its surroundings. I like how we can assemble our own breakfast and just choose what we like :) Mushroom was the highlight of my plate, very fresh and flavourful. Pork sausage is great too! The only thing was the oat latte was a bit weak, if you like stronger milk-added coffee then probably go for flat white or cappuccino.”
“Came for breakfast today with my little boy and partner and will definitely be returning. Was the loveliest experience which was made better by real personable, attentive staff. It’s rare to find a business where the people want to have genuine conversation with you. Food was perfect, all in all perfect! Thank you”
“Sitting outside watching the ducks with their babies, whilst drinking a latte was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours. Inside the cafe it was very busy.”
“Our first visit on the way through Norfolk. Just stopped for coffee but the food looked nice and customers looked like they were enjoying theirs. Friendly staff.”
“A delightfully authentic Italian deli in the centre of Norwich. I treated myself to a feast for lunch which included pizza slices, a sausage roll, and the best of all: a focaccia with olives, pesto and tomato. Absolutely top-notch food, and the look and feel of the place is also something to write home about. Highly recommended!”
