Portion sizes for the price were incredible i was blown away just by seeing how much food I had for such a reasonable price. The shop was clean and pleasant to sit in whilst waiting. The taste and enjoyment of the food was 10/10 I had the salt and pepper chips and special fried rice and I loved it. First time eating there but definitely will go again could not recommend enough.”

“Regularly in area. Not usually able to park . As its hive of activity. Grabbed a spot today and grabbed some top quality fodder. The sausage roll was a nice starter, but the gammon and cheese toastie smashed the taste buds through the roof of the van and straight back up the motorway smacking my lips. Proper brew with the bag in too. And all with the smashing service and wonderful smile of the lady who served me. Will definitely be back again.”

“This place is such a little gem, absolutely gorgeous food and cakes. All homemade, and the best place in dale abbey by far. I love the quiche and salad the best, and if you haven’t tried it you must! I also really enjoy the crispy cakes and rocky roads. It’s a real treat, and the staff are always so helpful and always ensure your looked after and they also accommodate any dietary requirements. I’ve gone up many times while being at weight watchers, and they’ve made me a lovely ham salad. It doesn’t feel like your in a diet, as the food is always fresh with lots of variety.”

“First visit to the games cafe and loved the whole experience. Fantastic selection of games for all the family. Table service is a bit slow but it was a really busy day with lots of bookings and did not cause an issue. Ordered 3 pizzas for the family to share and as there is only one pizza oven it did take a while but we were advised at the time of booking so no problem. Good selection of hot, cold, alcoholic and milkshake drinks available. We had a large booking and all enjoyed it. Will definitely recommend and go again.”

“This hidden gem is a must if you're in Nottingham and like fine food. Fletcher's Dining is at Nottingham College, staffed by students. We were recommended we visit here by a local friend, and our first time certainly won't be our last. You book the date you want, but be warned, they book up fast, and choose the meat or vegetarian menu, and then sit back and relax! The team met us at the door and although they were clearly nervous, they were friendly throughout. We had five different courses of delicious food, and in no way would you say this food was from someone in training, it was amazing. From braised pigs cheeks, to polenta cake, it was a taste sensation. Highly recommended, but do book early!”

“Since there's been a new manager the place has improved a great deal. Never once have I had a bad meal from here. The new staff and old one's are all very professional polite and always helpful. Even the food I've had on a takeaway basis has always been nice. Definitely one of my favourites in the area. They did a set meal with a band playing and was definitely my best night so far.”

The cocktails were really good as well, the blue moon over Tokyo shone, it was a fruity, sherbet packed delight. The setting is very cute and cosy, it's like a converted, low lit cave. Staff were very friendly. At first they were serving us one dish at a time with like 5 mins between them which I much preferred as it was like a tasting menu almost and gave us time to enjoy and savour each one while it was fresh and hot.”
