“My wife and I spontaneously decided to have a look at Stones Cafe while looking for somewhere to eat. As you do, we looked at the menu prices outside first. We could certainly say the prices were reasonable. As soon as we entered, you were greeted with plenty of space, a well decorated cafe that was certainly clean. We made our way to the table of our choice and again looked over the menu. The breakfast choices were limited. However, this may not be a bad thing, as this generally does ensure that the less there is on the menu, the better quality it will be. Once my wife and I decided what to eat and drink, I made my way to the counter where I was greeted by a friendly server who assisted me with my choices. Once payment was made the drinks did not follow far behind which I took to the table. As my wife and I were chatting, the staff were doing some cleaning to ensure everything was at its best. This made us happy to see and you can tell that they care about the Cafe. Our food did not follow far behind and came to us within 15 minutes. We both ordered an English Breakfast and we are happy to say it was a well prepared and served breakfast. By no means was it greasy and nothing tasted as if it was frozen or had been sat there for a while. I would certainly come back here again and even bring my family.”

“Amazing really helpful staff as always, gorgeous view of the beach. Iced coffee here is lovely although they do charge extra for alternative milks and for syrups which makes it quite pricey! Food is always tasty and well presented”

“Popped in for the midday lunch menu. Opened slightly later than advertised due to a gas inspection issue but hey. Once inside I was by myself so no atmosphere, but nice and quite. Ordered the half chicken with rice and a bowl of free salad. The chicken was amazing, fresh and tender and fell of the bone. Staff friendly. Worth the visit.”

“So good we ate here twice in the same day! We always come here whenever we come to Hayling for an impromptu day out. We arrived just after opening on Sunday, and was in and out nice and quickly. Chips were beautiful, battered sausages lovely and crunchy and a great amount of salt and vinegar! A rarity for a chippy! We were very happy eating it while watching the sea. After our day exploring the beaches we decided to get the same meal again to complete the day. Again brilliantly cooked and no complaints from our picky kids. Thank you very much :)”

“Brilliant little cafe situated next to the beach, ample parking available for motorbikes. Cars were having more issues of manoeuvring around the car park. Food was fantastic, huge portions! And very reasonably priced. Would visit again.”

“I have been to this nice bistro with my wife. We took the mussels and fish and chips: plentiful and delicious! We also ordered ice cream at the end of the meal and fortunately they had the dairy-free option. The service was impeccable: everyone was very kind and helpful. “Lovely little cosy place, we went on a cold day so decided to avoid sitting in the garden. The food was superb, quice is a must if you enjoy that kind of thing and the cake was very fresh, fluffy and light. Good selection of pastries and good service, music is mellow and not too loud. Most of the noise is the talking of others or the coffee machines.”

“We love Bar Aroma; just knowing we’ll be there lifts our spirits, whether it’s for our morning coffee or a breakfast of excellent proportions and flavour. Everything is delicious with an Italian flair: the coffee, the quality of the desserts, the seasoning of the food, and you can even find Italian products if that’s your thing. What we enjoy most is the good energy from the staff—they make us feel welcome and at home. They’re the kind of team that motivates you to come back; they remember your name, what you like and what you don’t. It’s clear they do everything with love and passion, and that’s always appreciated when receiving good service. They’re pet-friendly, organise activities with local artists, and you can also book them for important events like Christmas dinner. There are lovely details all around the place, and there are extra services that are much appreciated, like a place to hang your coat and self-service water. The atmosphere is visually pleasing, with photos and touches of Italy. They sell alcohol too :) after all, it’s a bar, hehe. We’re so happy to have places like this in Portsmouth.”

“Went with the family for brunch, called in the morning to confirm if they served halal food and they managed to reserve a table for 8 of us with no ease. When we arrived the table was already set up and they were expecting us and we were shown to our table immediately. We were greeted very warmly and all of the staff were very friendly and attentive. With so many of us sometimes you find that it’s harder for staff to adhere to all needs at restaurants however it wasn’t the case here and we couldn’t fault them at all. They put glasses and a jug of water on the table with no hesitation as soon as we had arrived. The food was amazing, we all had something from the Mediterranean menu and my daughter enjoyed her pancakes from the kids menu. Would highly recommend their Shakshouka with added Turkish sausage (sucuk) on the side served with the turkish bread (YUMMY!!!). Shout out to Anwar, he came over to the table and spoke to all of us, even gave us some recommendations on where to go for our short stay. We went around 10am and the restaurant was steady but upon leaving about an hour or so later, it was buzzing and full and I am not surprised because the establishment is well run, nice relaxed atmosphere and the food is 10/10. Note: Although there are Halal food options, there is pork/alcohol served too.”

“Went today for the first time and it didn't disappoint! Was so busy, makes sense though. Very nice coffee, I had an iced Pistachio latte, loveeeed it. Breakfast was delicious, I had a Honey Halloumi French toast and my partner had some Sourdough with poached eggs, bacon and beans. Both absolute delicious. Lovely staff, attentive, friendly. Nice vibes. Would definitely come back!”

“The best place to eat in Havant, although the management recently changed the staff is still very friendly and they provide great service. I always feel there great and welcomed. The food is a masterpiece, so tasty and reasonably priced. Every time we go there we feel looked after. They don't make a fuss about food/drink modification requests and try to accomodate.
