“Lovely little Co-op. We loved shopping here when we visited this cute town. They have a large selection of about anything you would need. The staff was very helpful.”
“Great little local shop, owner and staff are very helpful and chatty. They have done very well trying to take care of all there customers in these difficult times. We'll done to you all it is greatly appreciated.”
“I would like to highlight an employee, Leanne. Unbeknown to Leanne, I have serious medical issues and this morning had to return a few packages through their outlet. Leanne was exceptional in guiding me through the process and patiently did what she needed to do in order complete the task. Cannot thank her enough as not all medical problems are visible for the exceptional level of customer service provided. I did try the number on their website to endorse my experience with her manager, alas that no longer is the correct number. So a HUGE thank you Leanne, hope to see you again with less returns :-) Regards Chris”
“Food is very good, all freshly prepared. Portions are on the large side so good if you are hungry but not if looking for a light bite.”
“Very organised, good variety and nice staff.”
“Forgot a couple of items so popped in to see if I could get them here. Surprisingly this smaller branch of Sainsbury's had more available items than the larger store in Friar Street. I have been back several times now instead of using the 'main' store. Staff are friendly and helpful and store is clean. They also have a hot food section. I have not bought from it as it is always closed when I go in, so cannot comment on what is offers.”
“Store can be a little messy and cluttered but you find the best deals. Sushi box for £1.99 is amazing and the antipasti is also another great find. The meats are British and cheap and great quality”
“Very clean well laid out store with great staff and very good customer service.”
“You can get a handful of stuff at a nice rate. Good collection of liquor at an affordable price. Car parking is good.”
“Always do our shopping there, and my partner and I find that their veggies and fruits are amazing”
“This is such a good Aldi store. It's pretty well stocked most of the time. The centre aisle is well rotated, fruit and veg is decent quality and they have the biggest Swedes ever! Love the wine and beer selection and the Specially Selected range is even as good as or better than Tesco Finest.”
“Rather an old store, but still has a good range”
“Exactly what you expect a Sainsbury's Local to be. They have all the basics you need such as Bread, Milk, Cereal or sauces. Theres a meal deal section so you can buy yourself a meal deal, and get your basic items rather than going all the way to a full on supermarket. Great location and a car park with lots of spaces. It is also situated opposite a Garage and some fast food restaurants so you can order some food and then go get your basic groceries whilst waiting.”
“i go there everyday mm its so neat so tidy coffie of course and ice cream and lots of friendly without co-op id kill my self”
“Clean polite Staff, car park at rear, open till 11pn excellent shopping experience and the manager is a friendly dude what more could you ask for”
“Lovely clean shop. Has everything you need. Really friendly staff.”
“Excellent service. Staff are very helpful. Good selection of food. Meal deal is great value. Parking outside.”
“All the staff are amazing in this store. So friendly and helpful. They all deserve a raise having to deal with the badly behaved kids of rooksdown constantly giving them hassle and stealing.”
“M and s in the station is great. You can always get nice food. However one slight piece of constructive feedback is when they closed On strike days. I had no where to go and it was not helpful and I think they could have stayed open for business reasons and to help the community. I have to say though the staff are amazing. They always help you with your bags. Always well stocked. Really nice littler treasure trove in the station.”
“Visiting family in the area for New Year's eve. Called at this store for last minute essentials. The staff working were very friendly and helpful with a genuine smile on their faces.”
“Excellent services, everything you need for a relaxing break from driving.”
“I live very close to it and it is a lifesaver when we do not have any food”
“This is a small store, so choice is limited. Staff are great though, so I shop here regularly.”
“It is perfect every time . The staff are always helpful, friendly and accommodating too.”
“Really great team and Owen as new manager has really improved everything - feel very welcome.”
“Staff are always really friendly, and had amazing service today. An offer didn't come off some biscuits, and it had happened before too. Told the lady cashier and she just gave me my money back for both. Thank you very much!”
