“Good food across the board. Nice staff with timely service. Much appreciated. Fun quirk: Gandhi was strictly a teetotaler and anti alcohol. His birth state has banned alcohol for this reason. In the restaurant the non-alcoholic options were scarce. Not quite Gandhi in that aspect.”

“Al-shami must be an Oxford institution by now. I remember going there almost 20 years ago. It's a great place for an unhurried informal meal with friends. Share some mezze and chat, the waiting staff are lovely, and the food is very good for the price point.”

“Lovely staff who are polite and helpful. The food is served fresh and hot. You can sit in or drive through, it’s just as fast. Ample free parking with a children’s menu too.”

“I love the service in this restaurant. The staff is always super nice and helpful and the food is ready in few minutes. I used to come here regularly when I lived in Reading and now I returned when I came back for holiday. The kebabs are always big and if you get to finish one then you're probably going to be full, which I really love. The sauces are good and the menu/box is a really big portion. The fries are always great! Now they also have a pink coconut infused bread which they said it's a bit smaller than the regular normal one but I could barely see the difference. Super recommended!”

“We are regulars at Bluegrass, we usually visit 3-4 times a year. Our last visit was a Friday lunch, we have arrived before 12:00, so it wasn't too busy. The QR code ordering and direct payments using the app is really easy. The menus are varied, with lots of options for everyone and we always try to get something else to try out. Through a number of visits, having tried over a dozen of the menu options, there wasn't a single one that we would not like or would not order again. This time we have gone with the Boston BBQ Brisket, Burnt ends poutine and a couple of sides. The portions were huge and all food was delicious. Upon request, we have also been given a food box to take any leftovers with us. The service was fast, server helpful, the premises clean and we are looking forward to call again. I personally like the fact they support Siren, Reading's own brewery and have their IPA on the drinks menu.”

“The Kobeda Palence has wide range of tasty dishes available. Is is a moderatly big restraint wich is quite airy and spacious. This restraint has some unique style high backed chairs and tables. (See photoes). There is also a A.T.M machine within this restrant. There is a take-away bar here as well as plenty of indoor seating available. The food quality is Amazing and delicious, and I would come again. Kobeda Palace is located on Oxford Road, Reading, and is only a minute wald from Tesco Extra.”

“The best Chinese take away in Caversham. Massive portions and good prices. Good service delivered on time when requested. Easy to order online and the opportunity to pre order for your preferred time. Arrived hot and the delivery man was happy and friendly.”

“We used to get this delivered when we lived in bramley and it was lush.. tho the week day balti had a lot more taste than the weekend delivery so thinking maybe two different chefs..now moved back to Basingstoke we tried several places for a balti and none have come close to how tasty this one is.. it’s definitely our favourite Indian takeaway by far . “Best pizza that I have had in a long, long time. I had a Hot Bite which had great flavour as well as the heat and their special garlic bread with cheese is out of this world. They also had a gluten free option which kept my wife happy and seemed to have plenty of meal deal options. Cheers guys. Will definitely be back”

“Great spot for Sunday lunch. Quite reasonable prices too for families considering that kids under 12 can eat for free. The roast beef was cooked nicely without being overdone and the Yorkshire pudding was suitably moist. There's outside seating when the weather is good and a small but serviceable wine list.”

“This is probably my favourite chinese takeaway, always very friendly and helpful. Meets dietary requirements such as gluten-free. Food tastes great and is always high quality. It feels like such a welcoming place, e.g. We once went there wanting fish and chips, but it said "no fish and chips, fryer is broken." We went in and said,"we were going to order fish and chips, but we see the fryer broke." She thought for a second and said, "No, you're regular, we make especially for you." This really made my day, and as a bonus, every time it's someone's birthday and we go, they give us fortune cookies for free!”

“Food was really tasty, had nothing to complain about. First time ordering today, food was ready to collect in 10min. Everything was piping hot when I got home and food was not super greasy like some restaurants. Tasty food and super nice lady at the entrance.”

“This place serves just about the best fish and chips I have eaten anywhere, I can’t rate / recommend highly enough. The food is absolutely spot on and friendly, cheerful service too. Good value at £9.10 for small cod, chips and mushy peas which were generous portion sizes. The fish is cooked freshly to order and has a nice crunchy batter and perfectly cooked white fish inside. The chips from here are absolutely fantastic - cooked to perfection with a nice golden brown colour, crispy on the outside and soft potato inside. Whatever their cooking process is, double frying, and choice of potato they have it just right and consistently so. I can only assume that the people giving bad reviews are those who like their chips to be the soggy wet undercooked mess all stuck together and stuck to the paper that some other places seem to think it’s acceptable to serve - ignore them, this is fish and chips at its very best!”

“Me and my friend went to Hungry Birds to find a cheap and good quality snack to keep us fueled for the rest of the day and we ordered an oreo waffle which I would say took quite long to get but it was definitely worth it. About halfway into me and my friend eating boss man gave us a free portion of chips. I WILL go again”

The food is delicious the customer service is amazing and it’s open late delivery up to 2AM 1 of my favourite places to go for a late night snack and it’s a FAMILY run business which means the food is always good quality unlike some of these other commercial restaurants… I would highly recommend it to anyone who has not already tried it….”

“We order online for a food collection. Our order was prepared quickly and ready to collect at the exact time specified. The team were friendly and welcoming. The quality of the food was very good and the takeaway food packaging (for salads with dressing, dough balls, pizza, etc) was very well thought out to prevent leaks and avoid grease going through pizza boxes, whilst being 100% recyclable. “Itsu never stops to deliver good food, really like to go to them, I have visited a few of their locations in the last few years, everytime I go the food is very fresh and served quickly, only took us a few minutes to order and less 10 minutes later the food was there, very good sushi and sashimi, we tried the miso soup too, please stop to any of their locations to have a quick and easy sushi experience , staff members are very friendly and the prices are great to, please check the pictures !”

“Went with family for a dinner. Indian food served with Kerala taste and spices. And they serve Halal meat. Nice ambience. Easy to identify from even heavy traffic.Nice and small restaurant with ample seating. Typical Kerala food !! Enjoyed every bit of Kappa(tapioca)biriyani and Kappa with fish curry was awesome. I tried Beef fry and beef ularthiyath.Both were excellent but I expected beef fry bit more dry than ularthiyath. Both went well with traditional appam. Kids also enjoyed appam and fish curry. Kappa biriyani (mutton) was pure tradition blend. Thalassery biriyani was not dum but rice was khaima small rice.Since we were in Thalassery before and tasted authentic one before , biriyani was not as expected,but was not bad. Kerala porotta was nice with beef.Masala tea was so good. Tried a mango lassi as well , and lassi was superb. What I felt fantastic was the serving speed . Never seen a hotel in Uk serving that quick. Very friendly and polite staff. Very pocket friendly restaurant. Will definitely visit again. Parking in the front of the shop is paid parking for 2 hours.”
