“The place was really busy as it was peak hour, but the service was fantastic despite the rush. The two people at the front counter (a woman and a young man) were absolutely lovely. They managed the crowd efficiently, taking one order at a time even with a long queue to both order and collect. The food was delicious! We made a big order and tried a variety of items. The chips were amazing, big portions and perfectly cooked. The cod was tasty and fresh, while the beef and onion pie was absolutely lovely. Overall, great food and excellent service, even during a hectic time!”

Every dish tasted fresh and perfectly spiced, especially the winter warmers ,chicken tikka biryani. The naan was soft and fluffy, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into both the cooking and the service here. Easily one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. I’ll definitely be returning soon and recommending it to friends and family!”

The standard of food is overall better when dining in as you get the food straight out of the pan onto your plate. The takeaways have been above average compared to other Indians in the area. “Lovely ambience, and very friendly staff. We had a good laugh over spice levels in the chicken Naga Masala. The food, was authentic Bangladeshi. They are not pretending to be Punjabi or Indian, and I liked that about them. The options were very much East Indian, and the food was lovely. We tried the lamb shugondho (I hope I’m spelling it right!) and the chicken Naga massala. The children had Biriyanis chicken and lamb. The food was good. Portion sizes were decent. All served with a smile.”

Great+++ dough and oven and choice of fior de latte as cheese. Cooked well, done right, leopard bread and browned cheese on top which can be tricky in many woof fired ovens. Top 10% of pizzas ive had. So a no brainer. Reminds me of chapter in canterbury. But the real praise is to my surprise is the garlic bread for £3.75 and completely stole the show vs the already brilliant pizza.”
