“Really tasty food. Opened recently and very worth trying for yourselves. Nice hit of spice and warmth of pleasant heat. Polished down with a mango lotti smoothie. Delicious.”
“I was really excited to try this new place out, loved the food and the customer service was top. One of my new favorite places for Indian now!”
“Amazing environment, very well maintained restaurant in Yately. Remarkable chef who cooks literally Authentic Indian food! Must try all of their items because you won’t regret anything at all! Toilets are also neat and clean which you don’t see in any Indian restaurants.”
“Best indian I have had in a long time. It's a little out my area but definitely will be back. Brilliant flavour good size portions and very hot on delivery.”
“Soooo happy I found this place today. I was missing Kerala food and this hit the spot. We had the masala dosa, the masala Vada and gobi Manchurian with tea and fresh juice. Yummy fermented goodness. My soul is happy.”
“Excellent food and service! The staff truly cares about the costumers and we felt truly looked after. It’s the best indian food I’ve ever had! We will go back for sure. Highly recommended!”
“Wow! Wow! Wow! This place is amazing! Right from when your set foot in the door the staff are warm and welcoming. Lovely atmosphere with nice Indian music in the background to say the tone. Immaculate white linen table settings all spotless. It is bigger than it looks with a Sisha Lounge behind the main restaurant. It's the best tasting Indian food I've had, genuinely. Great poppadoms(some with a spicy twist) and chutneys to start, delicious mains and great wine. Zak our waiter and all the staff were attentive when you needed them, but gave you space to enjoy your evening when you didn't which for me is the epitomy of great waiting staff. We will be returning. If you are looking for a great Indian restaurant in the Twyford area, go to Haweli, you won't be disappointed.”
“Very good food and unlike other establishments where the staff are going through the motions and friendliness seems scripted the service here is genuinely friendly and attentive. Whenever I have friends visiting Reading, I always recommend to them that we go to the Everest. Atmosphere is nice and chilled out as well. Keep up the good work Everest!”
“Great food as always, been here a few times when visiting friends, that live locally. Staff were friendly, and the service is excellent. My time of visit was a Friday evening.”
“Delicious curry, the best in the whole area, no one can compare to the lamb curry here. So much flavour and melts in your mouth. Super fast delivery too!”
“We are long standing customers and for a good reason This is the best tasting Indian restaurant in our area by far . If you actually like Indian food this is the place to go”
“Spending a couple of days in Pangbourne with my husband so thought we would try out Miah’s and we were not disappointed! We ate in, great atmosphere, staff very friendly and food delicious! Highly recommend and we will be back on our next visit. Shout out to Mr Mohammed who was super friendly and made us feel very welcome”
“Had the pleasure of shooting some of the great Indian food at sizzling spice today. Highly recommended with very friendly staff!”
“I've been coming to this place every week—it's my favorite restaurant! One of the best things about it is that they’re happy to customize the food to your preference. Whether you want less oil or no oil at all, they’ll gladly accommodate. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend everyone to visit at least once.”
“I discovered an amazing biryani restaurant in Reading, offering various Indian and Pakistani dishes. You can choose from: • Roti (flatbread) • Sabzi (vegetables) - veg and non-veg options • Delicious biryani (my personal favorite) Prices are reasonable, making it a great spot for everyone.”
“Excellent food and good value. The best Indian takeaway in the area. New ownership this year but standards are as high as ever.”
“Absolutely delicious food at a reasonable price! The restaurant cuts no corners to serve you the most authentic Hyderabadi-styled chicken dum biryani you can get in Reading at just above 5£. Tandoori chicken leg is my second favorite! Lip smacking :)”
“I have dined in as well as ordered takeaways and I have not had a bad meal from here. Food has always been beautiful. The standard of food is overall better when dining in as you get the food straight out of the pan onto your plate. The takeaways have been above average compared to other Indians in the area. It is the best place for an Indian for miles. Couldn't fault the food or the service. Wouldn't go elsewhere.”
“Nice food, but where the hell did those 80's casuals appear from on the pavement outside? Hit one with my bike - I had no chance. Now need to get new mud guards! Gutted. Still the delicious kebab made up for it.”
“NB The previous owner has gone and it’s no longer the Jahan Kitchen – it’s now run by different people – and the negative reviews refer to the previous guy (who left July/Aug 2024). The food at Panna Kitchen is superb. I’ve never had a mainstream madras or tikka masala from there – but I’ve had a number of their specialist dishes – the Railway Chicken Curry, Bengal Naga, Chicken Makhani – and they are ruddy fantastic. There is literally no comparison in value for money between Panna Kitchen and other curry houses – they absolutely stuff their food boxes. The sheer weight of them tells you. One rice box does at least three people! Compared to The Shenai? You’re joking! A little while ago, I ordered a butter chicken and naan bread from The Shenai, takeaway, and it was £16.90! Split it between two of us and it was nowhere near a meal – both hungry afterwards. From Panna Kitchen, I got a railway curry, rice, naan bread and a bombay aloo, they gave a discount and it came to £16.50 – and THREE of us were stuffed afterwards. And they gave a few free poppadums as well. & the food quality was absolutely brilliant! The difference between the two is mental. The Panna Kitchen might not be the most efficient nor quickest, bless ‘em, but they do glorious food and it’s EXCELLENT value!”
