“Lyndon - an employer who works there helped me and my mum put together a coffee table as we had to return it twice in the same day due to the screws not working properly as they did not fit or connect properly, he swiftly noticed this and agreed the screws were at fault and nothing we had done wrong. We really needed the table but instead of us taking back another one, he fitted it together for us so we didn’t have to struggle which really made our day. He was so kind and thoughtful, the quality of service was amazing, so amazing we had to leave feedback and review. Thanks Lyndon from Parkgate, Rotherham Argos, you’re a wonderful employee!!”

“This is one of those hidden gems that you will probably have passed a hundred times. One of those shops that specialises so completely that anything you didn't even know you wanted is here. I wanted acrylic eggshell paint to repaint kitchen cabinets and spent hours going to all the big DIY stores. Then I spent 20 minutes in this paint shop getting exactly what I wanted in 20 minutes for much less. They are open 7.30am to 5pm weekdays, and I think 8am to noon Saturday. You can park in their yard or in front, it looks like a house but the shop is round the back. The staff are very helpful and complete experts. And you will note that most of the other customers will be professional painters and decorators. They should have an area that's better lit, possibly with a daylight lamp, for viewing the mass of colour charts with subtle variation in tones. I promise you that you will benefit from the traditional expertise and value.”

“After searching many sites for a sofa I came upon S2Sofas. Decided to visit and was rewarded with excellent customer service. No pressure to buy from S2Sofas, just left to browse and if I needed help they were there to do so. Fantastic quality sofas and chairs. Made my purchase and delivery was carried out by Perry and Will. Two young men who carried out the delivery flawlessly. Before ordering we went around six or seven different shops, including all the big-name brands, but this place just felt right. It’s a family-run business with loads of choice, and they can pretty much make or customise a sofa however you want. The staff were really friendly and knew their stuff, and they made it super easy for us to decide without any pressure. The sofas have turned out great - really good quality - and we’re really happy with them. Would definitely recommend giving them a try before going to the big chains.”

“We have just had our kitchen designed and refitted by Matthew and his team at Interior Solutions, Wickersley. Right from the beginning, Mat, Tony, Nick, Mark, Gary and Elliot have been fantastic. They were all considerate, polite, efficient and hard working. We found that we had nothing to worry about as they did everything and dealt with any issues that arose with professionalism and efficiency. Matthew frequently liaised with his team to keep things running smoothly. They removed the old kitchen, refitted electrics and re plastered as necessary. They then fitted the new units, lights, appliances and flooring. We are delighted with the finished result.”
