“Opens early. Spacious. Lovely coffee. Have on two occasions visited and the cafe had no bread or teacakes to toast, that was disappointing and definitely not good business. We always check now before ordering coffee. Do like the place.”

“Call in now and again. Usually just for a drink. Has very nice hot chocolate the hubby always has tea. It wasn't busy when we visited was clean and tidy and the young lad was brushing up the floor of bits and spraying the tables between customers. Has a drive through but we sat in. Also has toilets and an outside eating area. It has recently had a re vamp. A fetching salmon pink colour and matching seats , very nice it looks too”

“Moved to Chapeltown in April and found it really hard to find a gym that catered to everything I worked on. Until I found this gem right on the edge of Rotherham. The staff upon my initial visit were so lovely, they walked me round without even giving it a second thought. And since joining I get greeted upon visiting and leaving and that to me is just 10/10 loveliness. The gym since I’ve joined is already being improved, they’ve added new machines, their steam room and sauna swimming has all been updated, and recently they have been doing work on the ladies section which I’ve not yet had the privilege of seeing. Which shows they have initiative in keeping the gym up to date. The classes are all great and easy to book on to, again all the staff in the classes are lovely and the gentlemen that are walking round the gym sometimes if they ever see me struggling will always come to my rescue. I love this gym and even though their hours are amazing; they don’t quite fit into my life style so I have recently also had to join a 24 hour gym as well- as but I would never choose to cancel my membership here because I just love it so much. I would only go to the other gym if I had to after these guys hours. Their pricing is so reasonable too, especially considering it includes gym, classes and access to the sauna, swimming etc”

“Amazing two young women serving in store who were friendly & efficient, even though they had just been verbally abused by a rude, ignorant customer using the drive thru. They should not have to tolerate such behaviour from people like this.”

“Me and my boyfriend had the best time today spending time with the sweetest cats that call this cafe home! They’re extremely well looked after, love interacting with customers and are very clearly loved by the volunteer members of staff. We also ate at the cafe afterwards where we had the most amazing homemade pizza - wish I had taken a photo before we finished it. Overall, had an amazing time. So wonderful to hear about the work they do here and will definitely be visiting again in the future.”

“Was meeting my friend later around 1230, usually I love this store but won’t come in again if the Assistant Manager doesn’t get basic information So the lovely Manager, Mel is sweet and kind and speaks to regulars like family, working in social care, you can see who is genuine cares, and has excellent interpersonal skills, all there but I wonder why I was either too assertive or the Assistant Manager, was too focussed on telling me to not put a large cardboard box full of something on another table!? I was sat in a quiet corner having spent £9.70, on drinks cakes and expressed gratitude about his staff, he had zero awareness as he got on doing cups trays etc. That aside, my dear friend was unable to join me today, she and I are regulars and we always sit quietly in the table opposite the toilets, just to be able to have a bit of down time, be near the loo too is a bonus. The table tables are now across from a cupboard where the Assistant Manager cannot get at and where the two tables now that he needs urgent access to to put paper cups as he tells me about access, so me with osteoporosis that practically spends my pension in loads hot chocolate coffee cakes crisps etc etc is told that he, the Assistant Manager, who might have theoretical knowledge is now allowing his barista the lovely young lads to sit at the same table enjoy her break, and so she should whilst she eats drinks has crisps with all the paper plastic cups that he urgently he would appear to have urgent need to move me for as he leaves them obviously, I can see them plastic see through loads of them , six packs as the barista enjoys licking her fingers on her crisps , has a sprite on iPhone whilst he is prancing about I’m moved with hot chocolate two cakes keys phone plates osteoporosis chad leg need to be near loo! In addition a person mentions that a fire door is propped open with a boulder he says nothing at all as I close the door to support him so the wonderful assistant manager pops out to the underlying who is much better in public relations his junior and tells her about emails from HRvin a public place who then goes through privat entrance I hear lots being touched! Hoping fingers washed no evidence of this Wow, Mel he need to learn about Health and Safety at work Act 1974 and Fire Safety Regulations I told him that a man had noticed and if I was nasty too I would him over that, that I thought maybe it was propped open in good faith So I suggest ask is this area out of bounds to public? “What a little treasure in Bakewell! Lovely homemade and hearty Italian food in a cute place served by the most delightful couple. The food is delicious and very reasonable with well-sized portions (available in three size options too!) We ordered the veggie and regular lasagna, two pizzas, spaghetti Bolognese, sandwich and two starters. Everything was really tasty and the pesto swirls we ordered for starters were definitely our favourite. A must visit if you’re around in Bakewell or the Peak District area.”

“Came to this cafe after being turned away from a few, as I had my dog with me whilst he awaited a scan at the nearby vets. Lovely bacon sandwich with a choice of white or brown bread. A nice cup of coffee and such friendly staff. Thank you”
