“So because the GP can’t give you an appointment these days we as National insurance payers have now got to rely on getting prescriptions from the chemist. Today I had to ring 111 as I’ve had a headache for 4 days and I was told it could be bacterial sinusitis and I needed to speak to my GP within 2hours. I rang the surgery and they told me to ring back tomorrow as they didn’t have any emergency appointments. Or contact the chemist. I went down to the pharmacy and they were awesome, they confirmed my condition and wrote me a prescription straight away. 5 stars and more”

“My dentist referred me here to have a wisdom tooth removal. The process took from March to now, but through no fault of MyDentist, they fitted me in as soon as I rang and I managed to get a cancellation appointment, which I wasn’t expecting. The team who dealt with my extraction were brilliant from start to finish, they explained everything and were really reassuring. The extraction wasn’t the easiest and it wasn’t 100% straight forward. I don’t suffer with anxiety around dental work but I imagine if you did, the staff would be really calming. I got there early and was seen 25 minutes before my appointment time. The aftercare was explained to me much better than previous work elsewhere. I understand we all have different experiences looking at some of the reviews on here, but I honestly can’t fault them for the service I’ve received. I’m also grateful the tooth is gone!”

Ian is a former police officer and an infectious, witty, dedicated and hugely knowledgeable man who goes above and beyond in his efforts with the guests. Very professional but strikes the balance between sticking to the routine but inserting details and extra pieces that are clearly sourced by extensive and personal research. I have no idea what this guy is paid but if I was Leger, I would put some real effort in keeping this guy onboard…he really is outstanding and WHEN we book again, we will ensure that Ian is the guide. A superb tour guide.”

I went in quickly whilst I was shopping with my partner today as I had a bad experience with the Nottingham branch earlier in the week. The staff were friendly; professional and so helpful. Went in for a quick fringe trim and was done in less than 5 minutes. The stylist I spoke to also gave me some really great advice going forward for the next few months on the run up to my wedding. “On the 29th of July 2025, while I was at work, my right eye suddenly closed. I went to A&E the same night and was told it was a chalazion. I asked whether there might be a problem with the nerve, and I was reassured there wasn’t. However, it later turned out not to be a chalazion, but Horner’s Syndrome, which is caused by damage to the sympathetic nervous system pathway. In my case, the cause was idiopathic, but in other circumstances it could have been something serious — such as a carotid artery dissection, which can lead to a stroke. That night, I could have been at real risk, and it makes me realise how easily a human mistake could cost a life. I understand that everyone in the NHS works under great pressure, and I truly appreciate the effort of those who tried to help me that night. I especially want to thank the GP in A&E who referred me to the specialists when I went back for the third time — I don’t know his name, but I am very grateful. I would also like to thank the ophthalmology department, who provided a high standard of care. I saw Dr Anne-Marie Firan, who was a knowledgeable and caring specialist. Thank you to all of you at Barnsley Hospital.”

“My docs surgery is useless for booking appointments within two weeks. To the point where I recieved my pills late on multiple occasions. The doctors I saw never listened to my complaints about the pills I was on brushing them off as normal side effects. I recalled using this clinic once in my past for an emergency pill and I decided to try going here instead. The staff are lovely and actually helped me find the right pills for me. I now have no side effects and know I can walk in and get my next set when I am ready. I always point my friends this direction for any sexual health needs because I know they'll retrieve the care and advice they need”

The staff I work with now listen to me, support me and help me with anything I am struggling with (despite their new. management who are not so good). I just want anyone who’s thinking of accessing support to know this team will help you. I’m no where near the place I was 12 months ago: things are still hard but I became stronger than I ever thought possible because of my self and this team. so please don’t be put off by the negative reviews.
