“Perfect for a stop or a cheap room. Decent size, clean. A little dated but you don't expect much from a Travelodge. Only.tjing was I couldn't plug my phone next to the bed which was a little irritating but nothing I couldn't get over. Staff are friendly and easy to talk to.”

Exemplary teachers along with Retford Oaks policies and carrying out of caused her not only to catch up with her education, (extra lessons and activities) but to look back on her time at R Oaks with fond sentiment. “What a place, we came here a few years ago and had a great time then….and the site has been improved further since to make it even more comfortable and luxurious. The new tents are large and homely, the kitchen areas attached to each area are well kitted out and the amenities and indoor areas around the site in case of bad weather have grown. Will be keen to come back again :)”

“We ordered bedroom furniture, minus a bed, and despite the challenges of the past year, received excellent customer service and bespoke furniture. We are delighted with the furniture build and ascetics, however we need to be mindful of the vulnerability of the finish with water spillages as they mark instantly. Revival beds have been more than helpful in restoring our furniture with product advice. I only wish I could complete the look with a bed to match but need an electric bed for health reasons.”

“My friends and I went for a cooked breakfast. We had to wait as it was all cooked fresh but it was delicious. I picked up a cheese scone on the way out as they looked amazing but didn't get round to eating it until 3 days later, it was gorgeous. Can't wait until I go back. Thank you.”

“Great garage, daughters car needed new alternator fitting dropped it off on Wednesday as it was only day I could get it in due to work, they were busy and said they would be able to sort it Friday I told them that it was my daughters first car and she had her test on Friday they called me Wednesday afternoon to say they had looked at it and ordered parts and it was ready to collect Thursday afternoon. Absolutely amazing service daughter delighted passed her test and out driving that afternoon. Many thanks.”

“We stayed the one night in their Farrier room. Total luxury, friendliness and professionalism from check in to check out. The room was stunning, well thought out and had quality items for us to use. The menu does look extensive and it took a while to choose something but what we ended up with couldn't be faulted, absolutely delicious. The owners are super friendly and unpretentious and their hands on approach topped off a lovely stay, we shall return.”

Simple but elegant furnishings, so well organised with 2 kitchens to either use for a simple meal or something more. We took our ingredients for a chicken curry and our son and grandson (local) joined us. We will always use The Lawns for value and ease of use. Thank you.”
