“Stopped off here for a night while driving from up north to down south. Really good hotel, staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and spacious. The bathroom was plenty large and the atmosphere of the hotel was very comfortable. Very good breakfast with a nice restaurant area. Great location with a Morrisons across the road, easy access to the motorway and Rotherham only a few minutes drive down the road. Really good price and value for money, especially if you sign up to the free Ibis/Accor membership for members prices. Would recommend!”

“Stayed here for one night . Everything you need for a budget stay. Location not central however staff very helpful . Rooms were great for the price Large rooms . Extra services ie hairdryer and ironing board . No bar and lift was broken didn't cause us an issue but as we on third floor would have been a problem if you had mobility issues Overall a good size room and clean Good value for money”

“Stayed at prime lodge and after reading Google reviews I was a bit worried. But after arrival I found the reviews to be very unfair. The room could do with a revamp but otherwise is was clean, comfortable and quiet. I would happily return. Staff friendly and if you enter your reg at reception you don't get charged for parking. I love the motel style as it makes rooms much more private. For the price the hotel was more than worth it . Thank you.”

“Went for Sunday lunch, but I chose from an extensive menu my partner had scampy. I had Scilian chicken, both were delicious and nicely presented at a very reasonable cost. Nice environment and friendly helpful staff. Can definitely recommend”

“The portions were big and food was really tasty with excellent quality, but inside there was a bit cold, they have electric heaters, but it isn't enough to feel warm, so I think it's better to go in summer time and sit outside.”

The whole experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. ​The restaurant itself is incredibly cosy, and the entire team was just amazing and attentive. A huge shoutout to Joss, who was absolutely brilliant! Due to a last-minute business trip to Sheffield, we needed a table, and he went above and beyond to fit us in and was so helpful in explaining the menu. ​The food quality truly blew me away. Everything tasted superb, proving the dedication to using fantastic quality local produce. “We’ve came for Sunday lunch as a table of 6. The service has been impeccable, very quick with bringing the meats out. All the meats were super tender, especially the minted lamb. However I did love the cinnamon pineapple. All the staff were really polite and friendly. I will definitely be coming back!”

We got a takeaway pizza, exceptional amounts of cheese and chilli, and a taxi ordered + a bottle of wine. 9000000% would return here for all occasions. The staff where beyond lovely. “Went in without any expectation, but came out with a very pleasant surprise. The food is delicious, and as a south east asian, I am actually quite impressed by the authentic Thai flavour. We ordered a veg curry, Pad Thai, and Tom Yum Gai, and they all taste great. The restaurant owner is friendly as well. Truly a hidden gem!”

Food was delicious and waiters were so lovely constantly attended us. It's lovely little restaurant which definitely hit your expectations. It's been run by their family for years. I had amazing time and I will be coming back more often as I enjoyed it so much. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.”

“Moved to Maltby recently and this is the first fish and chips tried. I have family members visiting who are gluten free so picked this one. Lovely fish and chips all round, and lovely service too, friendly, welcoming, speedy, price competitive. Even though I personally don't have dietary needs, I'll order from here going forward in preference to others without the GF options because I appreciate the effort taken.”

“Extremely generous portions. Beautifully freshly prepared traditional Greek Fayre. I had the Minotaur breakfast and other than being slightly overfaced by the sheer size of my breakfast I absolutely loved it !!! The warm, fresh humous was the best I’ve ever tasted!!!”

“Me and a friend dropped in on Saturday and I was really impressed. I don't write many reviews but we had a good time there. One of the staff called Jess helped me get the rewards app which I didn't even know was a thing, so really happy. Good atmosphere - staff were all smiles. Food is always great at Urban but gotta tip my hat to the salad - cool and fresh just what we needed in 30 degree heat. My new go-to store. Highly recommend.”

“For me, best cafe in Rotherham town centre. I can't comment on it as a bar (never been on an evening), but it's my go-to for a Saturday morning breakfast. Independent, friendly, good food, reasonably priced. The staff have a good rapport with regulars. Decent music a lot of the time too, which makes a nice change for cafes. I recommend their full breakfasts - I'm not a small fella, and their large breakfast is too much for me! They take card payments, but cash is preferred if possible.”

“The best pizza - Luigi hand stretches all the bases personally, unlike most of the pizza shops around here that use pre-made bases. The prices have barely increased in the 30+ years that this place has been open. He doesn't deliver, he doesn't need to, its that popular. If you want a Friday tea-time pizza phone it in or you will be waiting, it's that popular.”

“It's a clean little sarnie shop. Pop in and order, freshly prepared, then and there. The best bacon, egg, and tomato butty I've ever had. A stack of perfectly cooked bacon and a runny egg. They really take care preparing, neat and tidy and delicious.”

“Great little bar and bottle shop. Friendly bar staff. Great website which offers click and collect or delivery. Brilliant range of beers, ales, stouts, ciders, sours and all manner of delicious alcohol on tap, pump,cans and bottles. Nice little outside area. Really like this place.”
