“We have had a few carverys here and the food is excellent.we also had our wedding reception here on 29th july ('23) it was perfect, Karen (landlady) pulled out all the stops and made our day perfect.Although we did our own food, The room looked amazing. The bar staff were so lovely and friendly and the DJ was brilliant anything that was requested he played as well as his own choice of music, excellent. I would highly recommend this venue for any celebration, Karen makes everyone feel special.fantastic place, amazing staff, wonderful Landlady, thankyou all so much. We.ll be back for lunch!”

“Went here with my partner for a spontaneous date and it was lovely! Seated quickly food was hot and fresh and service was great, it was very quiet which was a surprise and at first it looked like they only had one lovely member of staff working and she looked swamped bless her but she did an amazing job! By the time it was time to get the bill our table had been taken over by another staff member and I didn't get her name unfortunately, food was expensive but the quality was great and for a once in a while treat cant really complain!”

“Found Ella's on a whim as we were in the area and hungry so we popped in, its small but dont let that put you off, menu has a good selection of hot and cold food, we ordered the belly busters and my goodness it was delicious, such a generous portion, with the softest bap i think ive ever had in my life. The 2 ladies were friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend and would go back if we are in the area again :)”

“Arrived here unannounced on a quiet Thursday night, was recommended by a friend. Server polite and attentive. Starters we had olives and cheesey garlic mushrooms, bf said mushrooms were amazing with proper cheese! Olives garlicky and spicy. Received complimentary garlic bread, bf left me 2 pieces we loved it! Mains both had hanging kebab, 1 lamb 1 chicken, both tender and succulent, doggy bagged a bit so I could eat all my chips cos they tasted amazing too! Very reasonably priced, all the above plus 2 large wines, and 3 bottles of peroni for £56. Will definitely be back!”

“Wonderful tasty brunch for vegetarian and non vegetarian and vegan. Excellent big portion, make sure you havent eaten earlier and cooked to perfection. Coffee and tea really good and lots of choices Service was brilliant, really polite, helpful and accommodating. Very impressive. Nice atmosphere. Also bought a lovely takeaway banoffee flapjack. “We had a visit to The Boston Arms as we have family in Woodseats. What a brilliant little place! Great beer selection (craft is where it's at!), cosy atmosphere (brilliant for us who are NeuroSpicy) and dog friendly! Absolutely loved it and will be back in again when we can throw the kids at the family for a few hours!”

“Went here as some of our friends recommended it. Very pleasant and the staff very friendly. We only had coffee but it was nice and we enjoyed it. We tend to go for places with a good ambience and this is definitely high up on the list and we felt very comfortable. It does get quite busy but that's good for a local eatery and we would certainly go more often.”

The eggs were fluffy and cooked to perfection, complementing the potatoes beautifully. The combination was simple yet incredibly satisfying. “Very nice food and friendly staff. No set breakfast as such, choose the items you would like. I had 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 fried bread (naughty but very nice) and tined tomatos. Lots more to choose from as well. Wife had vegetarian that looked and was fab. Nice coffee. Highly recommended.”
