“We went for lunch on a Tuesday myself, wife and baby. Food was delicious. We asked for a table with space for the pram and my mobility aid and the lady showing us to the table was so polite and moved chairs out of the way to make our table more comfortable for us. It’s a small thing but when you’re disabled and have a newborn small things like that can make a big difference. Our server Beth was great, very polite and helpful. The food was great. The menu has changed since last time I visited but it was delicious.”

“Would like to say a massive thank you to Sam & Stuart and their family for hosting the best surprise party for a 30th birthday! All the buffet was proper homemade food and was fresh and so tasty (also has the best homemade scotch eggs & mini quiches ever!!)All the staff were amazing and worked so hard to accommodate us all. Bar service was quick even though there was a lot of people to get through! Sam and everyone made an amazing effort to make sure the night went exactly the way wanted even helping to put all the decorations up a couple of hours earlier. Couldn’t of wished for better hospitality, loved every minute so thank you so much guys! Would recommend to anyone wanting to book a party :)”

“Me and my fiancé have been regulars here for a while now - and we constantly get the same dishes every time because the taste of the curry’s here are absolutely amazing and fresh. I recommend the Chilli Chicken and Butter Chicken dishes as the main favourites. I also have to mention the Acchar Gosht too which is simply beautiful and full of flavour. I’ve been to the big famous places around the UK, from Akbars to Nawaab in Manchester, and I can honestly say that the curries here are much better than the places mentioned. ❤️”

“Really nice Weatherspoons. Opened at 8am. The car park costs money BUT DON'T PAY! Go inside and resister your car number plate on the machine at the bar and you get free parking. Nice breakfast, with bottomless coffee and hot drinks. Fast service too. The Francis Newton is in a lovely old building with lots of areas to sit in. So hard to get free parking in Sheffield, so this restaurant was nice to go to”

“Came in here with my uncle Steven to have a bite to eat. Morley our server was phenomenal, she was so friendly and helpful. The manager on shift was really helpful with getting me somewhere comfortable for my wheelchair to go. Food was outstanding the short rib was falling off the bone. There were three chefs at our table and all three of us were very happy. The price was basically unbeatable for that quality. I looked into the hotel rooms and they're really reasonably priced, and you get 10% off food at the bar which is amazing. 1000% will be coming back here when we're next in town.”

“Stayed here couple of times in motorhome. Staff made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The staff from management and his team was very friendly and helpful. Had a fantastic meal last week, it was out of this world. Facilities was lovely and clean and pub had a lovely atmosphere. Will be staying again in the near future. “The fish is great and large. Batter can be hit and miss but overall very good. Lovely staff very hard working - all of them and are always helpful and friendly. Oh and it's clean, very clean unlike the meadowhead one which is a dump with tea swilling in the clean trays and food all over”

“Love this place!! Just had takeaway from here- it was delicious. It’s spotless and clean inside and the meat is lovely and fresh. They gave us free pop and free 12” garlic bread too. Pictured is the mixed chicken and lamb kabab. Recommend getting extra yoghurt sauce too it’s so fresh and tasty.”

“My order was messed around but the customer service from the staff there was amazing and they did manage to sort my delivery out and tried their hardest, best customer service I’ve ever received from Uber eats orders, usually if it’s late, then it’s late, no extra stuff for the inconvenience it’s caused you. But with this burgerland, the staff speak to you as a person and always put you first as a customer. Ordered at 12:55PM, 01/11/2023”
