“I’ve been visiting The Grind for around three years now, and it’s hands down my favourite spot in Doncaster. The owner and staff are always so welcoming and lovely; nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The prices are really reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes and the quality of the food. And if you’re into cocktails, you’ll be spoilt for choice; their menu is huge, and every one I’ve tried has been delicious! Highly recommend!”

“I attended my cousins 60th birthday party , the venue is spacious and immaculately clean. Plenty of bar staff .The food is exceptional a hot and cold buffet with plenty of choice and even if you are a fussy eater I'm sure that you wouldn't be disappointed. The hosts Paul and Jeanine were on hand .There is also a stage to accommodate live music that we all enjoyed.We all had an enjoyable and memorable evening .”

“This is a lovely café in Hathersage village just a little set back from the main road and only a short walk from the railway station. Convenient for refreshment after an outdoor pool swim and the breakfast menu includes a special dish of Turkish origins. Sizeable scones look good too.”

We were walking in without a reservation, they also accepted our request for seats by the window. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. “Have been told its one of the best pubs in Chesterfield so we decided to give it a try. Well worth the trip. They offer a special lunch menu during the week, either 2 main meals for £23 or Any burger get a second for and additional £4.95. We tried the burgers. From bacon, crispy onion rings , to chorizo, black pudding ,pullled pork and even spar ribs off the bone their selection is amazing. They were cooked to perfection. My stilton cheese burger had 2 patties Char grilled, with stilton cheese premelted dripping down the patties. With onion marmalade and all the trimmings on a brioche bun. Seriously the best burger for miles. The other dishes we saw coming out looked as inviting but for me I ll be back to try some of the other burger crearions. Too good to miss out on.ps. we did go back and had the K pop chicken burger, it was divine! Photo below.”

“Excellent and friendly service! Great Sunday Dinner carvery, the food was perfect! The variety of meats were great and they were cooked to a very high standard! I would highly recommend this friendly pub. The music played varied to accommodate all ages however I found some of the modern songs challenging on the ears!”

“This place is golden. We wandered in during a birthday night out and were welcomed in, the bouncers telling us there was a DJ upstairs and a band downstairs, free entry to both. The band was playing standard "wedding rock" (more on that later) so we headed upstairs. My friend went and asked the DJ for a birthday shout out and to play Toxicity by System of a Down. The DJ (the infamous "Lez" who has been at it for 50 years) came over with pen and paper a few minutes later and asked us to write down our requests. The pool table was free (and free), there was no queue at the bar, there were some interesting characters, one of whom bought me a Jagerbomb for my birthday - it was great to be part of such a mixed, friendly crowd. Downstairs and the band started playing a few more suitable songs, including the aforementioned Toxicity, at which point the moshpit finally started. Great night, great people and great venue.”
