“Lovely experience! We came on a Wednesday evening, quite hungry, and were welcomed so warmly. I had checked the menu in advance and ordered the mezze straight away — it arrived in about ten minutes and was absolutely delicious. The mixed grill was just as amazing. Would definitely come again!”

“Beautiful food that is prepared and presented with great care! So tasty, atmosphere felt authentic, and service was attentive without being overbearing. We were sat at the bar facing the chef so could watch the sushi being prepared, which was very cool to watch! It was also really affordable - myself and two friends paid £13 each for three dishes, and were kindly given many cups of free green tea. Unsure why Google suggests a meal would cost £100+ because it is much, much cheaper!!”

“First visit to this large restaurant on Whitehall Road; at the foot of that tower that’s had so many problems with the cladding. Now scaffolding free, it made me notice this place afresh. Inside the restaurant is bright and airy, white walls and marble floors. There’s a nice vibe in here of an evening. Chill yet traditional. You sense the meal will be good. Nice big menu with lots of choice. Pizza, pasta and steak. Also fish. Opted for the venison wellington; I love venison and it sounded like a dish that would be rich and hearty. Not wrong, a beautiful (and big) portion of perfectly pink venison in a light and flaky crust. Wow, could eat that all day. So very rich with a hearty sauce, turnip to the side. I wish more places would use game. The chef here clearly knows his meat. Excellent. The steak must be fantastic. Reasonably priced as well. The beer was Moretti; as it should be when it isn’t Peroni. Definitely recommend giving this place a try next time you’re in town. They do specials too, so a chance at finding something unexpected and intriguing on the menu. Always welcome. Two paws up. “Perfect place for a stop if you're cycling in the area. It was a good menu, with lots of choice and vegetarian options. There's space to prop your bike against the window outside, and see it from your table. There's also a side alley you could potentially leave your bike, but would be out of sight once you were in the cafe.”

“Excellent food and service as always. Been coming here ever since this place from changed from an Indian restaurant Nawaz Kahn to Bab Tooma & we've always loved and enjoyed. My kids enjoy it even more. The lady Kiran was exceptional, very polite & patient. She knows how to deal with kids & I would personally say she's One Good Asset this Establishment has. It was basically empty on our afternoon visit so we got excellent personal service and everything cooked specifically for us. The minted lamb was my personal favourite. We will be back.”

“I absolutely love this place! Its small but packs a mighty meal! Very nice staff and reasonable prices if I ever go back to Todmorden, it's the 1st place I will go. They have fantastic soups, lunch, and dinners plus a full bar in a nice atmosohere!”

“Wondering around the town looking for somewhere that appealed and once we went in and saw the menu we were sold! Large menu with lots of items, but what appealed to us was the crepes/waffles. We got an apple crumble crepe which was amazing! Big portion with loads of amazing tasting apple (that they bake themselves), plenty of toffee sauce and cream. We've had crepes before from other restaurants but this is definitely the best one we've ever eaten. Service was really nice and we will definitely be back for another crepe next time we're in the area! There are plenty of places in town that serve coffee and cakes, so they really should be advertising more strongly that they do crepes and waffles as that will bring more people in.”

“Was in Ossett to have a tattoo at Ashes Rise Tattoo Studio and was advised to have a substantial meal prior to the tattoo, so this being a 2 minute stroll away I chose here. Glad I did, lovely cosy cafe, all staff smiling and helpful. Ordered a large breakfast and large it definitely was too. Proper butchers sausages, nice thick bacon. Everything was lovely, was definitely substantial as I couldn't finish it lol. Definitely come again prior to next tattoo, or even if visiting Ossett.”

“Had a lovely meal from the lunch menu. Chose Chicken Skewers to start, Fish and Chips and ended with Sticky Toffee Pudding. All food was very tasty, well presented and enjoyed! Forgot to photograph pudding but it was lush. Service very good and surroundings in restaurant pleasant.”

I had the Lasagne Bites with a Parmesan sauce and Truffle Oil and Parmesan fries which were so good I took some home to show my husband who also wants to come and visit the deli.”

“Had a party for 40 people last weekend. Tillybods provided the food…lovely trays of food for me to heat as & when I wanted. Amazingly tasty dishes, with the star of the show for me being the Chicken Tikka Masala (again !). Great compliments from everyone. Will definitely find excuses for more parties just to get more food !”

“Lovely cafe, very welcoming lady, coffee was lovely and strong in a decent size cup, my wife had the healthy breakfast, bacon scrambled eggs, beans tomatoes and 2 toast, I had sausage bacon mushrooms tomatoes fried eggs and 2 toast, all was well cooked hot and very tasty, overall 10/10, will certainly visit again.”
