“Review based on one visit. Honestly, I was blow away. The chap behind the bar and the lady organising front of house and kitchen were great. We had never been before. I called ahead, it's Sunday, asked if we could get a table booked and they said it was fine. We arrived soon after and the table was being set up, amazing customer service. They had an amazing quality highchair for our 1 year old too which made the meal time run smoothly. The kids wouldn't have eaten anything off the kids menu (we dont eat meat and they dont particularly eat fishfingers, fussy I know), so we split and adult Cod meal between them and they were fine with that. Food wise, top quality and homecooked, fresh. The cod was absolutly delicious, even better than the sea side. Was some great nostalgia from my childhood to visit a small local pub with good grub. Prices were fair. Good range of soft and alcoholic drinks. The only negative point, would be the lack of baby changing area. Or at least we couldn't find one. But to be honest, we just nipped out and changed our son in the car. No harm. Was great Sunday afteroon. Highly recommended.”

“Was a lovely place to celebrate our marriage. They set up the rooms beautifully and had screens all around that we played weddings pictures on them. The staff were all very nice and Jack was very attentive. They have 3 room with different volumes control. I would highly recommend this place for anyone having a party. “Magic Merlin was brilliant at our recent Circus Fun Day at school. His communication with me from the start was excellent, he arrived promptly on the day and was very organised. He was friendly and incredibly flexible- he just went with the flow and offered to stay longer too. The children (and staff/parent helpers) absolutely loved the magic show and his circus skills went down really well with the kids too. I would highly recommend Magic Merlin- he really helped to make our circus fun day extra special.”

“Ordered takeaway from The Cake Ole tonight and it was wonderful. Its so nice to have a takeaway with more than just burgers and kebabs, pizza or curry. We had thw grill boxes and a pudding each for a very reasonable price. Think we've found a new favourite place. Delivery was fast and the food tasty. Definitely recommend.”

The pizzas were brilliant and we were able to set up decorations and back drops etc before the party. The kids loved the play area and it’s great that you can see them from the cafe via a tv screen. “We held our Christmas party at this venue and can honestly say that the staff could not have been more helpful. The food was amazing, a huge hit. “Been here a few times for different bits (mainly performances) and their pork sandwiches are pretty decent. Parking can be a bit weird with the tight bend to get in but there's usually some spots available so it's not too bad!”

“We had a beautiful lunch at this tea room today. I had quiche with new potatoes, salad and coleslaw. My husband had cottage pie with peas. We had to wait a little while as it is cooked to order but well worth waiting for and it arrived piping hot. We ate in The Dog House as we had our dogs with us. We've had tea and cake there before but not had a meal but we'll certainly have a meal there again. A lovely walk round the lake and reasonably priced parking all added to a lovely afternoon out.”

“Best Chinese Restaurant/ Takeaway in Rotherham. The whole family always used to eat here but we stopped when the place flooded years ago. We recently started ordering again earlier this year, and now it’s the only Chinese we will order from. The food is great, the service is quick, when you call to collect, your food is ready in 20 mins max and best of all it’s a very reasonable and affordable price and tastes great. Lots of other local Chinese takeaways are so expensive now, but Dynasty is so much more affordable and they do not compromise on the quality / taste of their food. We love the food here because it’s ’clean’ and tastes ‘fresh’, what I mean by that is that the food just has a ‘clean’ taste and feeling, it’s not greasy and you can tell the food and vegetables are fresh and that your order has been freshly prepared. We will be looking to make a restaurant reservation here soon to try dining in again! 10/10”
