“Very good menu for both food and drink. Breakfasts were amazing and the juices were very good. I ordered a second to take away. The service was excellent too - friendly, polite and efficient. Can't wait to go back!”

“A great cocktail bar in Nantwich. It is very well decorated and the service is very friendly and welcoming. Tons of cocktails to choose from, all of a high quality!”
“I recently dined at Deadwood Smoke Restaurant and had an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm, rustic, and inviting — the perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The ambiance really added to the overall experience, with cozy lighting and a laid-back vibe that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the evening. Now onto the food — absolutely amazing! The menu offers a great selection, but the standout for me was definitely the steak. Cooked to perfection, it was tender, juicy, and full of that rich, smoky flavor you’d expect from a place that takes its grilling seriously. You could really taste the quality of the meat and the care put into its preparation. The service was also top-notch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and checking in just the right amount. Whether you’re a fan of barbecue, a steak lover, or just someone looking for a great place to enjoy a hearty meal with excellent ambiance, Deadwood Smoke Restaurant is a must-visit. I’m already looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu. Highly recommended!”
“Just had our Christmas meal and wow, it had us all planning for next Christmas! Been here a few times and tonight was no exception, food, staff and atmosphere all wonderful. Highly recommended!”
“What a delightful old pub in Nantwich. The food, the drink and wonderful ambience make this well worth a visit. Brimming with historic charm and a children's policy (over 12s only) which ensures a relaxing visit. I have to commend the landlord on enforcing this. Children are a blessing but I simply want to enjoy my downtime time in peace. To hear the crackle of the large open fire and conversation with my partner over a superb plate of food. Huge well done Darren & team. We will be back very soon!”
“Enjoyed a lovely meal with my husband and two friends. Great choices available on the menu, tasty food and excellent friendly service. Our first visit and we'll definitely be back. NB The upcoming festive menu looks great.”
“Fabulous country pub! We just spent a night here in our motorhome and would highly recommend the place. Food was excellent, atmosphere was vibrant, and the staff were polite and helpful. There's something for everyone here, family and dog friendly. Large car park, outside toilets for motorhome stopovers, and lots of space for vans, motorhomes, campers etc. Thank you for a great evening.”
“Came here for lunch and had delicious food. I had a regular size (which was a decent size) pizza Arriba, which was delicious! The dough is fantastic, I like a doughy pizza and this one delivered on that. The toppings were really generous, too. I did ask to change the chorizo to nduja, which was kindly done for me, although after ordering and paying, I was then told there were no peppers available. Not a biggie, but I think it's fair to be told things like that before paying. My wife went for the Mancini pasta, which she said was also delicious. Especially the mushrooms in the dish. I tried one and agreed that the flavours were incredible. They taken on the flavours of the chorizo and were just so moreish! She said it was only warm, though, and could have done with being a bit hotter. The drinks we ordered they didn't have in stock, and I got the impression they maybe don't stock what's on the menu as they had other beers (although they didn't have it available to buy, just had one on display) and wines that weren't on the menu, which again isn't a biggie, but a little strange. The staff were friendly. We paid just over 32.50 for the pizza, pasta, glass of wine, and a beer, which we felt was fair, especially as the food was so nice. Overall, we enjoyed the food and would go back again.”
“Visited for the first time and had a lovely lunch. I had the Nourish Bowl and it was fabulous, just the type of food I enjoy. Crisp raw vegetables, a yummy dip, tasty hummus, sweet potatoes, falafel and couscous. Will definitely visit again!”
“The food was absolutely superb, quality homemade and delicious. The owners are lovely and made us feel very welcome. We don't live locally but if we come back to this area we would 100% come again. My wife said the Aperol Spritz was the best she's had outside of Italy! Beer was good too. Great for families. Highly recommended.”
“Absolutely amazing food. Great offers and full plates. Deserts we're to die for.. couldnt fault this.. it is our new go to place beats other eateries around. We love to dine out and will be regulars here for sure. The staff were so friendly and attentive but not in your face. Couldn't fault the place at all”
“What an absolute delight this amazing place is. You first enter and think it’s a butchers then there is a shop which has stopped in time only to discover the museum gosh it took me back to a very young girl! We then approached the cheese section, I was salivating only to then go to the most quaint ordering counter and place our breakfast order which all the meat came from the butchers at the front off the shop ! The breakfast was truly amazing we had the full English breakfast , my son and I had the omelet with everything and we left with very contented tummies and a shopping bag full of lovely goodies bought from the shop & cheese from their own counter my only regret was that I didn’t buy their last home made pork pie ! So I will have to go back This truely is an amazing spot to go to you will not be disappointed”
“Had a really good meal and time at the lounge bar restaurant, a little pricey but the service was brilliant.”
“We had a vegetarian Sunday Lunch - gorgeous roasties and Nut Toast with the usual veggies. Really good portions and helpful, friendly staff. 2 main courses and 2 pints for under £36”
“Really enjoyed having a little stop at this cafe for a drink. In the centre of town just off the main area it’s big enough for maybe 25 people with various tables inside and out. Toilets on site and it’s wheelchair accessible too. They allowed our dog in as he was well behaved. Lovely service and very friendly. We had a couple of cream teas with great clotted cream and home made scones - it was a great time thanks”
“Wonderful, wonderful bar. The DJ is out of this world!! Me and a couple of pals had dinner and drinks here on a Saturday night. I didn’t realise the place turns into a full blown nighty C after dark. Food was amazing, service too. But, the DJ was something else! Got chatting with the DJ who names himself ‘Joey the Axe’ (I think). He was brilliant. Read the room with his music, and was very very friendly. Played all of our requests without issue and made the night very special. Even gave me a lift home and walked me to my door!! I’ll never forget you Joey the Axe.”
“A great meal and lovely service. Food was amazing and beers were great. Will be back and strongly recommended for a meal.”
“met friends there when we got off train, nice friendly staff”
“Always a great day out. Some great shops within, just wish they would open 7 days a week. It is annoying to find some close Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Both cafes are excellent with great food and fantastic staff. Massive car park but does need lighting in the Winter months as dark at 4pm but open till 5pm.”
“Popped in for an evening meal and had a really good night. The lively atmosphere and friendly customers paired with great food and drinks means I'll be visiting more often!”
“Called in for food and drinks on Saturday afternoon with plenty of parking we accessed via a ramp and footbridge bridge over to the pub where we received a friendly welcome with choice of seating from bar area or dining area, dog friendly if you're walking past with your furry friend. We enjoyed a tasty vegan burger with hand made chips and also a great beef bourguignon, room for pudding was filled with a Bakewell tart with ice cream and a real treat of a honey and whiskey panna cotta. Both were well presented and another empty plate was left, definitely will be calling again to watch the canal boats and walkers passing by”
“Excellent pub on the banks of the canal with moorings. Large beer garden with plenty of tables some under cover. Pub with conservatory and room overlooking the canal. Good bar area and Timothy Taylor’s Landlord on draught and very well kept served in a real jug not a straight glass. Food smelt good and menu looked good also. Will be back for dinner one evening.”
“What a fabulous pub. Great, friendly service and great beer. It’s such a welcoming pub and there’s a buzz around the place. The selection of craft beers is extensive and they’re all brilliant. We also order the tikka pie which was great. Possibly my top pub in Nantwich.”
“Brilliant pub with amazing service and very reasonable prices! Staff are extremely friendly and chatty, Josh being a great guy who takes pride in the pub. We've been a number of times now and always have fun. They often have a DJ at the weekends, and Thursday night is their pub quiz. The prices are very reasonable, had a double hendrix and slimline with a large white wine for around £15. We haven't tried the food yet but are planning to do so, as we've seen others have it, and it looks good. Prices are again very reasonable. Overall, it's a great pub that's well worth a visit!”
“Ten of us went for dinner at the Farmers Arms last night. Both the service and food were absolutely fantastic!! I had sweet chilli chicken sizzler, with wraps, dips and rice and it was fabulous! I was trying to be good and resist the desserts, but when I saw the pavlova, I couldn't resist! Crispy delicious meringue flavoured with vanilla, covered with lovely soft Chantilly cream and then fruit and sauce on top. I think this is the best dessert I have had in some time. It was marvellous!!”
“Quirky decor, staff are lovely, food and drinks are amazing. The milkshakes are soooo nice. Love this place”
