“A very sociable and friendly pub.they have joined the Newcastle skittles league.so we smallthorne victory club asked if we could play them a friendly match to introduce them to how the league is run. And it was a good time had by all. I have never been to the Crown before so I was supprised when a voice from behind the bar said and wot are you doing in here. It was Kay who ran the White Swan in burslem for 6years it was like home from home. Definitely worth a visit”

“I had an appointment with Lukas this morning for a root canal treatment, in my head when he told me I wouldn’t feel it, I immediately thought yeah okay mate you’re going to be drilling into my mouth and I’m not going to feel any pain ? Sure. This man a magician!! I didn’t even feel the needle going in, nor did I feel anything other than the dribble leaking down my face which they really kept on top of with cleaning it up. I had a strange reaction to the anaesthetic, it made me itchy for a short while and then left me feeling like a was floating, which after a while I can’t say I mind, also not their fault as they asked me if I was allergic or have I ever have a reaction in which my answer was no. I thank everyone at the priors for making this such a gentle experience.”

“My mum and I went into Stafford for a bit of shopping. We came to river island and was pleased with the items we found and was greeted by jeanie with a 15% discount which was always grateful. We decided to leave and come back to check on another item and if we can use the discount again which they accepted. Went for an elusive item that I was unable to get anywhere else and they sold it(!!!) so I was very happy. Spent a good amount of time in here and inevitably bought lots of other things. Relaxing shopping experience, very calm atmosphere during our visit & friendly till staff. LOTS of other shopping experiences in Leek, was very impressed and had a very enjoyable trip!!”
