“Fabulous stay. Scrummy breakfast. Choice of whatever combination of cooked bits you wanted. Lovely toast. Homemade quince jam! Breakfast trifle (healthy!) yumyumyum! Felt so looked after. David was so thoughtful & caring & hospitable. Pot of tea on arrival (with biccies!) & fresh coffee brought to your door before breakfast. Definitely recommend if you want that real homely experience. Hartington is a best village, so B&B is great location for walks. But what makes it special is how you are looked after! “We stayed in our motorhome for two nights. Lovely, peaceful site, good facilities, especially for a CL site. Very helpful owner. About 5 miles easy drive to Malpas with shops and pubs. Easy access into the site for our 8m motorhome. Thoroughly recommended.”

“Even though we didn’t go as part of a group, brother Khurram sorted the whole trip out for me and my family, from booking the flights, transfers and ziyarah’s at a great price. He provided us with a guide to help us with our umrah. He had people on the ground available to help us with anything at anytime. “Glorious views from a wonderful pitch on the old orchard. Lovely site overall, with welcoming owners who provided local info and walk suggestions. Not just quiet, but a peaceful site where the owners are sympathetic to the local wildlife and natural environment. We had owls and bats to watch/listen to at night, and a butterflies and birdsong during the day. We walked to Rudyard lake, although didn’t manage to find a route without a short stretch of road walking. A fantastic escape, would highly recommend.”

“We stayed 1night ,As we where heading to Southampton for our Cruise .The bedroom was very cozy with a nice en-suite .The shower had shampoos and shower gel .The bed was comfy .Tea coffee fresh milk in small fridge and two bottles of water.Phil and Ann are very nice hosts .We slept well in the comfy bed .It was very peaceful with parking on site .The breakfast ,Orange juice ,Cereal with much to choose from .Toast tea ,Fresh fruit and warm Crossiants .We would stay if ever on our way to Southampton .Not often you find a gem of a place .The price was good too .Sandbach is a lovely place .20 mins walk to the town at a Senior citizens pace .A CoOp close by and a fish chip shop .”

“What a Fantastic Trip. 'Scandavian Capitals by Train' Regent Travel put all the framework in place, sorted all the logistics which meant we could have a super time...(Oh and Regent did throw in a couple of extras that we would not have found..' of course they did)”

“Such a beautiful village pub! Our first visit and we went for Sunday dinner, the food was hot, tasted great and looked amazing. The staff were all very friendly and service was great wasn't left waiting to be served. We will definitely be returning.”

“Have been staying in the one of the a cottages for a month while waiting for a house to go through. Cottage perfect, has all amenities needed plus a great welcome package. Outside jacuzzi which wasn't on with it being late autumn but would be lovely in the hot weather. The owner Jane is so nice and provided us with clean bedding and towels each week. If we were moving away I would definitely stay here to visit our family.”

“Needed hotel as visiting family near by, this was in an excellent location. Alsager is a lovely town, we visited a lovely bakers and had a lovely lunch. Also pubs and couple of restaurants nearby for evening meals. If you like national trust, there's a quaint place called Little Morton Hall worth a visit. The hotel was run by lovely people, and the breakfast can't be faulted. We will definitely stay there again”

“The accomodation was excellent. We had a converted outbuilding to ourselves with a choice of bedrooms, a small kitchen, lounge and conservatory. A friendly welcome from Eileen together with a couple of generous slices of cake was a perfect start to the stay at the farm. There was plenty of toiletries, tea, coffee, milk etc and the kitchen was well appointed with immaculate and modern appliances. The owners have got a Labrador puppy named Harper who was absolutely adorable. We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely return to this idyllic and peaceful location with stunning views of the countryside. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in the area. We ended up having a curry in a restaurant called "New royal balti" in Audley which was superb. Being non licensed we took a bottle of wine there from the Tesco store a few doors away.”
