“Lovely pub in a great location, with a carpark at the rear of the premises. You can enjoy the food and drink knowing it's all at a reasonable price, without sacrifice to quality. I can recommend this pub as one of the best in Congleton.”

“Ordered for the first time last night and have to say it was absolutely lovely! The portion sizes were really decent, especially for the chips and Donner meat. Normally, I end up with chips galore and just a few pieces of Donner, but this time it was an equal share of each. The added cheese was actually melted and plentiful, spread throughout the dish. It tasted lovely, slightly greasy, but no more than usual kebab food. The chicken was really nice too—perfectly hot, well-cooked, and flavourful. They could be a bit more generous with the sauce; I prefer a bit more than there was, but now I know to ask for extra next time. The food arrived quickly, and the driver was friendly too. I will definitely be ordering again and recommending them to friends and family!”

“I’ve honestly never had a problem with Papa Johns, Lawley. The pizzas I’ve had from them have always been fresh, hot, and very tasty. And their service has always been top notch. For me, Papa Johns is something I’ll get when I want to treat myself. The collection deal is unbeatable. And the garlic & herb sauce is something I’d always come back for. Quite recently, I got to try the brownie; which was also pretty good! I am bemused by the high number of negative reviews. I’m never normally the lucky person. So I can’t understand why my experiences have all been top class.”

“Just fantastic. First time here and ordered the usual ribs, lemon chicken, chips and rice. This was one of the best I’ve had. My partner had different dishes to me (she’s vegetarian) and said it was the best she’s had. Great job Great Wall :) Don’t change a thing! 2024 update - quality seemed to go down a bit over the last year or so with really gloopy sauces that set before your food was finished. Fortunately, it appears to be under new management and the quality of the food has improved a lot, in fact, it’s the best it’s ever been.”
