“Rudyard Lake is a beautiful spot for a walk or a paddle. The scenery is calm and picturesque, and there’s a good mix of trails for different energy levels. A lovely place to spend a few hours outdoors away from the busy towns.”
“We love the whole experience of Lilleshall House. From large well equipped rooms with massive showers (choice of shower heads), fabulous breakfast choices, and beautiful gardens, well equipped gym (if you fancy it) and great staff”
“I had a wonderful day at Tittesworth visitor centre while my husband took part in an ultra marathon. The center was well-organized with very friendly staff. The food was good and the drinks were reasonably priced. There was ample parking and great accessibility for wheelchair users. The disabled toilet was a bit challenging to access due to the door, but it was clean. There were plenty of disabled parking spots close to the main paths. The paths around the lake were great for those with strollers and wheelchairs. They also offer trampers for hire if you want to relax and enjoy the stunning views.”
“A wonderful mixed woodland near to Oakamoor and between Cgeadke and Alton Towers. The site us owned and managed by the National Trust, access is free with plenty of parking at a layby, or in a small dedicated car park about further along the road from Cheadle. A variety of wildlife is on offer if you're lucky enough to see it and walking is medium difficulty with one or two trickier sections dotted about. Rarely more than a handful of people here.”
“It was an amazing place for a swim. Totally beautiful, I loved it. It was nice not to be time limited in the water, although at this time of year I can’t stay in for such a long time.”
“Only problem is it gets very busy! It's a lovely playground in a beautiful setting. The nearby visitor's center provides refreshments and toilet facilities.”
“This is far the best park we've taken our 3 year old grandson to , it's absolutely lovely & we can't fault it , so much to do. Can't wait to take him again & to add take a picnic along too ... Definitely be spending more time on our next visit . There is a swimming pool on site & roller skating also ... shame all parks are not to this standard .”
“Multiple memories made here over many years, whether it be birthday or anniversary parties and the staff have never failed to be as helpful and friendly as can be”
“Great place, beautifully cooked food, very friendly staff couches and books in the waiting area to get comfy, not that your ever waiting to long so couldn't ask for more”
“Very Professional & quick affordable service”
“We have used John twice now for our family holidays and he is amazing. Everything is hassle free and John does his best to find you a great holiday at a great price. We recently had a flight cancelled from Paris to Manchester and had to fly to Liverpool the next day. When John found out he made sure he was free and available the next day to pick us up from Liverpool and take us to our car in Manchester airport. He will go above and beyond for anyone and that is why I will recommend him to anyone! Thank you John!”
“This park is great for children and Adults, it is always clean and well looked after. The adult keep fit aids are also great fun”
“This place is a real gem, Vivian and Derek are very nice and helpful”
“A lovely easily accessible pond between the Darwin's Walk and Bowbrook developments. You can walk around the whole pond but there is a steep ditch on one side which means you cant get a buggy or stroller the whole way round. This pond has various ducks including Tufted and Mallards and has recently seen a family of Mallard and 8 ducklings in residence. This is an ideal pond if you want to get close and feed the birds.”
