“Our two whippets have just spent four days at Hound Minded Sighthound Hotel and I can honestly say it was a fantastic experience (for the dogs and us!) We were really anxious beforehand about having to board them for the first time ever, but Jon and Minty's genuine care and dedication really shone through from the minute we dropped them off. They took time to understand the dogs needs and preferences and it was clear that they had lots of experience with sighthounds which immediately put our minds at ease. We received daily updates and photos which was a lovely touch and so reassuring for us. It was clear that the dogs weren't missing us one bit! They had regular, varied walks and it was so great to see how much they were enjoying their stay. Jon and Minty's commitment to keeping us informed really allowed us to enjoy our time away without worrying about the dogs too much at all. We couldn't be happier with the service provided. Our dogs were so happy during their stay and it was such a positive, stress-free experience. We can't recommend Hound Minded Sighhound Hotel any more highly to any sighthound owner looking for an exceptional, safe and caring environment for their dog. “We stayed here during a quick visit to Llanelli. The whole hotel is fresh and clean. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is generous and delicious, with a good choice of cooked food. Parking at the rear of the hotel is a real bonus, there's plenty of spaces. Would definitely recommend and will be back for sure. Thank you to everyone who made our quick trip a real pleasure.”

“We held a team meeting at The Thomas Arms earlier today for a group of 35 delegates, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble for Dionne and her team — the meeting room was set up exactly to our requirements, with well-organised breakout areas that helped the day run smoothly. Our lunch was equally impressive. The fantastic carvery offered three delicious meat options, all cooked to a high standard, and the team were more than happy to tailor meals to accommodate our delegates’ dietary needs. Overall, outstanding service and attention to detail. We wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend The Thomas Arms for future events.”

“Great price for 3 nights. Room was very clean, no noise at all, friendly and helpful reception staff. Great location next to main dual carriageway and a supermarket, petrol station shop and working men's club all next door - we used all 3 during our stay. “Would definitely leave our cat at Sunny Meadows again, we were apprehensive leaving him for the weekend as he'd never been to a cattery before but he was well looked after. When.we arrived we were welcomed & showed around so we knew exactly where our cat would spend his time, the place is absolutly spotless . Angela and Dave replied to.all our messages when we checked on how our cat was settling in . When.we picked him up he was happy & had been groomed, we would recommend Sunny Meadows to anyone needing to leave their precious cats at a cattery ,they will be looked after so well & given plenty of fuss & love . Thank you both so much for looking after Checco & im sure he will be returning for another holiday with you later in the year .”

“Although this place is of a little off the beaten track away from a main road, It was certainly a pleasurable stay and the wonderful owners could not do enough and were very friendly. Bedding was clean, showers was modern with good pressure. Would certainly be happy to stay here again.”

Victoria and her team are efficient, professional and friendly and manage all of my properties extremely well. Communication is very good with maintenance work discussed and agreed before large jobs commence. Victoria has a large number of reliable and competent tradespeople to be able to call upon to carry out maintenance and all jobs are carried out to a high standard.”

“We had our wedding at Llywn country house, after looking for a venue that was intimate and bespoke. The venue itself is perfectly set within its own garden with plenty of free parking. Each room unique with their original features, fireplaces and spotlessly clean. The food by chef Marius. Delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can really taste his passion for food. The staff bent over backwards to fulfill our needs and Llywn country house will always be a special place to us”

“The best day care/boarding around!!! Very reliable, my sausage loves to see Emma and strops whenever I take her away from BelDarDachville. I’m comforted knowing my dog loves it so much. I couldn’t be without them, Emma is simply amazing and my dog loves them! Highly recommend, if I could give 10++ stars I would, simply BRILLIANT!!”

“I cannot thank Neil and the team enough for the fantastic care and attention they provided for Molly and lady last week. From the fantastic grounds to the clear love of dogs thus is by far the best kennels we have ever used. Lady us normally quite a nervous dog and the photos and videos posted shows she had a fantastic time and we had no need to worry at all. Neil even messaged me with update which was such a lovely personal touch. Molly and lady loved their stay thank you all.”

“Me, my wife and 3 kids stayed here for 4 nights in the last week of August 2024. What a brilliant apartment it is to access all the beauty spots in and around the gower peninsula. The apartment itself is 5*, spotless, and literally has everything you'd need including incredible views of Llanelli beach. Sally was a brilliant host from initial contact to the clear instructions after booking. From then on, we didn't need to contact her once as the apartment literally had everything we needed. You do have to climb 6 flights of stairs to the apartment but it's well worth it for the views. Nice comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and showers, shampoo and shower gel, toiletries, great kitchen, utensils and balconies. Smart TVs and surround sound as well as a selection of board games for a family games night. Do not hesitate, just go for it. You won't be disappointed. Thank you Sally for offering classy accommodation at an affordable price.”

“Right on the front, could see the waves crashing in, great for dog walkers or those wanting peace full time, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, quality bedding and mattress were clean and again comfortable. Would definitely stay again.”

“Just come back after a great weekend. The pitches were large and plenty of room for us to set up with friends. We eat and drunk up the clubhouse and found the prices were very reasonable. Staff were all very helpful and pleasant and the entertainment was really good.”

“Fantastic Sunday Lunch at the Miramar Hotel I've been to the Miramar Hotel a number of times for the Sunday roast. There is free parking at he rear of the hotel, free WIFI, and excellent choice of hot and cold beverages. The Sunday roast rates as one of the best I've eaten anywhere including (sorry Mum) Mums...... They offer a choice of meat, Chicken or the melt in the mouth roast Beef. Served with potatoes cooked three ways, Roast, Mash and Boiled, yorkshire puddings, stuffing plus an array of freshly prepared vegetables. The home made gravy to die for.... The portion sizes are huge. If you've got room after the mains theres a Desert included in the price. Really recommend the hotel for it's roast and cooked food in general.”

“Booked a room for 2 nights. The room was large and very clean. It is easy to check in and out. Extremely friendly staff. Being next to the pub was excellent for breakfast and meals. A bonus being it had a carvery.”
